Light charging question

I have a bright eyes reaper plus I just got a new charger today from bright eyes. The new charger is flashing red. I thought my old charger stayed solid red until charged then turn green. What does flashing red mean?

.

Most of the time it means the battery is real low and it suspects a problem. I am not saying there is a problem but I have seen chargers think there was when the battery is real low. I would plug it in in a location you can see what's going on. After a few hours it should be ok. Sometimes you have to plug it in and perhaps in an hour unplug and plug in again. If, I was in your position to make yourself feel comfortable. I would just pick up the phone and call Ray. He will help you out.
