Little story
A man was asked if it was okay to go hunting on his land, one of those asking had a leash made out of a piece of rope, his pant legs were wore out to the tops of his boots and his boots looked like they were wore plum out, the other 2 hunters had nice clothes, new looking boots and fancy leather leads. The land owner said jokingly that the 2 dressed nicely could hunt, they were not going to hurt the game population, but the other guy was just too much of a real hunter by the way he looked and he better not let him hunt. I was always wary of the man who actually looked like a real hunter than the guys with all the nice new clothes and hunting gear, a piece of rope for a lead, a beat up dog box, wore out boots and pants, but packing a coon dog. Lol. Some folks forget that the most important thing a coon hunter can have and that's a COON DOG. Fancy equipment is nice to have, but equipment does not tree coons, nor does dog feed. Dave
