Mr. Skeets .I'm not familiar with that detector ,but here is a way to check your detector out . Take a gold ring tied to a heavy monofilament line. Dig you a nice hole about 8 inches deep ,put the ring in the hole ,backfill it keeping a nice tight line ,then fire up you detector. If it sounds of on the ring you got a winner . I f doesnt sound off pull the ring up an inch or so til it does sound off . But here is the thing with detectors ,In really hard packed ground the signal my be weak, loose dirt you will get a harder/loud signal . Hope this helps you with your machine but I will do a little research for you. Hey ,do you know where Coker Creek is in Tenn.? Nice gold in that area . Post your reply here if you would sir ,thanks .

Boys , all I've got to say about all this rain is that it is moving a lot more gold down the creek and depositing it in a nice honey hole ,wish i could find one ,,,lol.

if the creeks ever go down enough iam going to try a place right below the house here.during the summer when the water goes down, right in the middle of the creek theres like a little island and iam thinking maybe some gold could have washed there on the little island.on the banks of the creek there is a lot of iron ore and ive heard thats a good place to start looking, now i just got to wait for the creeks to go down.lol

Mr.skeets ,why don't you take a pic of your honey hole when the water goes down ,so we can see it and don't forget to use your magnet on the black sand . It is a good indicator of having some gold nearby it,,might need to dig down some to get it ,gold is about twice as heavy as the black magnetic sand .

I was setting out on my deck panning some gold out ,then it started raining ,ran me inside . I read this article ,I know gold has dropped some over the last 7 monthes or so ,but I've read reports of it rising up again like this one Heck one report I read says it going to be at the 6 to 8 thousand dollar range by 2018!! I don;t know what its going to be , all I know is that it don't eat anything, won't rust and you don't need to keep it lubed up ,,,lol,,so I will keep on panning ,its pretty much free ,just go out and dig it up ,keep it stashed away ,,,lol Gold Fever there is no cure for it ,other than going on to meet your Maker .
