Since when can you single register a hound in ukc ?

What are the requirements? a set of pkc papers, just like how it is to do it in pkc?

I'm curious to find out too... There is a post in the bluetick forum about some red pups born in a blue litter and someone suggested single registering them English. Would like to know how that works.

you have to go through the breed association. a breed rep has to inspect the hound, make sure it meets breed requirments, and some of them have to see them tree a coon. the breed associations approve them being singled registered. at least this is my understanding of it anyway.

Black & Tan Single registration is only open Sept and Oct. We have a person that is charge of that. You contact him and he will give you all the details on what needs to be done. Dog does have to be inspected and tree a coon.

different breed associations have different rules, the English association will not single register a puppy (no matter the color) out of two registered blueticks. and I am not positive, but I think the redbone association no longer allows single registration.

And there has to be pictures from three angles sent into UKC, which still can not approve the register if they see something they don't like. Its a lot longer process here than in PKC.
