GrNtChGrCh PR Southern Blue S&H's Goose

I would like to introduce Goose to the public for stud service consideration. My partner, Ketih Sparks and I would like to see some coondog females bred to Goose. Stud fee will be by private treaty. Goose had never been in a hunt when I brought him to Southern Bluetick Kennels. I hunted him hard and him and I learned each other for a few months and we hit the hunts. Some of his wins include 2nd place registered at the Alabama State Hunt, BBOA Alabama State Championship king of hunt, RQE high scoring dog at Goodsprings, Cast win at Zone semifinals, and we won at clubs in Mississippi, Tennessse, and Alabama. He didn't win by hunting his territory in my backdoor.
Goose is not for the faint of heart. Goose has a big motor and doesn't have much reverse. Goose will get deep if he needs to tree a coon. Goose is a dead loner and will be somewhere alone 99% of the time. One of his strongest points is his accuracy as he will almost always have the meat when you get to him. Goose is a tight on the ground. He has a big mouth and a good locate and is a classy hard chop mouth tree dog.
Goose has only a few pups on the ground. His first litter has only 3 pups living and they are 13 months old. I know 2 that have already treed several coons and the one my cousin and I have is going to be nice. Big mouth, natural independence and going to be accurate. I bred ChNtCh PR Southern Blue Dolly to Goose and only raised one pup and I kept him. He only 2 1/2 months old. My Dual Grand Cotton gyp is bred to Goose now and is getting big. She is due Oct 31. I have another GrNtCh gyp here to be bred as soon as she comes in heat. I didn't want to breed Goose much until I finished him to Dual Grand. Goose is a 5 yr old hound. I will post his pedigree below. If you need motor, mouth and accuracy with looks to boot, give Goose a look. He is not going to be retired. Keith has plans to hunt him some this winter and I plan to enter him in some larger events. Come go for a hunt anytime.

Goose is at Keith's house right now. He is going to hunt him some this winter and plan to bring him back here around January to get ready for the Winter Classic. There are 2 Grand Nite Champion females lined up to be bred to Goose in the next few months. I like what I see out of him so far!!

GOOSE

I will be bringing Goose back to Southern Bluetick kennels to keep him tuned up for the Winter Classic and also plan to hit some PKC hunts with him. Keith is having some hip problems and Goose isn't the dog to cut loose with a hip problem for sure LOL . He is going to get gone and get under the meat. I have plans to breed him to my Dual Grand Smokey River Blue Ann gyp as soon as she comes in heat. Should be a great cross.

Southern Blue Spanky

Ryan went over to Mississippi Saturday night to a UKC hunt and hunted Spanky. He said Spanky passed up 3 walkers on slick trees to go .63 with the meat. Deep and alone. Spanky is 16mths old and has 2 wins in UKC. Goose is going to be pretty dominant about throwing the motor and independence in his pups. Spanky is also very accurate like his sire. Goose is 6 and hasn't been bred much but I have a pup out of our ChNtCh Dolly gyp and 2 pups out of Goose and my GrChGrNtCh Cotton gyp. I'm waiting on GrChGrNtCh Smokey River Ann to come in heat and she will be bred to Goose.

Spanky now has 4 wins towards NtCh. He won both rounds of a double header in Marietta Ms Friday night. He should get his win soon to finish to NtCh. He is 16mths old out of Goose. Good job with him Ryan!!

George I believe Goose will throw the right kind. He was very dominant in the cross that produced Spanky. Spanky will be a very nice coondog as a two year old.

NtCh Southern Blue Spanky

I took Spanky to jasper tonight and won cast. 675yds deep and alone with only coon seen. Ryan got 4 wins on him and I got this last one. Ryan is headed up here to hunt him in late round in NtCh cast. I’ll be hunting Roxie.
