Well, the whole PRINT industry has bee in decline since .....
really the mid 80's!
More so since the mid 90's!!!

As that is when the whole Internet stuff seemed too fire up!

I worked in printing from 92 till 2010!
It declined really quick over those years!!!
SAD! as it was good work and all!!!

One would think that would be good for the woods and all for hunting?
I am not seeing that....

While timber i would guess is not being cut to make paper , too print on?
It is being cut to make more room to build new subdivisions , and more ground to farm!

So, is tech knowledge making LIFE better , or worse?

Guess that depends on where you live, and how you live?

Doesn't seem there is a WIN from either side!!!!

Stud add.

So after all these year's, the last one still advertising and the winner is Casey's Missouri blue Kennels page 75. Has been advertising in C.B. since 1968. Just thank of all the so called flash in the pan stud dog kennels you have out lasted. Not all were flash in the pan but the ones that were lol . Great job and keep up the good work. May God bless.

As long as this site is free and studs and puppies are easily advertised here, the magazine will.never keep up.

Yep kinda sad how that has changed. Used to be waiting by the mailbox for mine. Read it and re-read it and re-read it!!

Now it takes about 5 min to thumb through it.................

I am curious; can someone tell me how many pages are in the magazine nowadays (on average) ?

I used to get the magazine every month & just loved it, but once I was no longer working, I had to cut back on every little "extra" thing, and that was one of them. I used to read all of the ads, and really enjoyed seeing all of those dogs.

I miss the stud dog advertisements. That is always the first thing I flip though to check out. Time goes on and things change I guess...I would like to see some articles on old stud dogs that have impacted the coon hound world. Like maybe 1 per issue... I think most would like to read about...??? Finley River Chief... Wick's Stylish Banjo, Spring Creek Rock... The list goes on and on and on..... With all breeds....

Would this be a slight variation to the "why buy a cow when you can get free milk?"

Casey's Missouri Blue Kennels

We still raise and train dogs. You would
not believe the calls we get for pups, young
started dogs, and finished dogs from that
add and the add in the American Cooner.
We have 10-12 deposits on pups that people
are wanting. Goes to show people are still
looking in it for pups/dogs.

I don't understand the love affair with facebook. It is a liberal organization that would jump at the opportunity to attack our lifestyle on many different fronts.

UKC is gonna have to lower the Stud Ad rates drastically.
I've talked with several who say thats the main reason they dont advertise...Rates too High.
