A Plea to Allen Gingerich and RDC................

Firstly, hats off to both men and both Kennel Clubs for putting on two great events in the midst of all this craziness!!

HOWEVER, I, and I would bet a whole lot more of your customers sure wish yall would get together and try not to schedule these MAJOR events on top of each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many, many, many of us would love to participate in both, but are forced to choose.

Thanks!

Actually fall SS is always the last week of Sept pkc did not do anything new. UKC schedule is always Oaks on Labor Day weekend (Labor Day is always the first Monday of September this year it was the 7th which made Oaks 3rd, 4th & 5th if you go back and look at your past calendar Oaks last year was the last weekend in August). After Oaks the UKC skips a weekend and then has Zones with the world the following weekend. SS and the World it looks like they will fall on the same weekend until 2023 then they will be separated for a few years then back to same date again all as a result of Labor Days date. The only way to ever avoid this conflict would be to always make Autumn Oaks the last weekend of August but that will never happen so we are just stuck.

Hunt

The calendar year dictates this like you said just like Thanksgiving etc but ukc has always used this as long as I can remember 90 percent of the people wouldn't hunt both anyway

But why not help the hunter who wants to go to both.... it’s a win win for both businesses... At the end of the day we are all hunters and should be helping each other to support all forms of our sport as well as hunting n general

There would be more than you think that hunt both.
It doesn’t matter which registry started using those dates first. Bottom line is they should never be in the same week.
This is no different than the recent changes with the introduction of money by ukc and introducing there version of the progressive tree.
Times change and you have to do what you can to get the people there, and compete with other registries.
Putting a man in a position to choose which cast to attend when he’s in the final rounds of both registries at the same time isn’t good for anyone. JMO

My only thought is, it would be nice to have the world hunt when there are no leaves . Early November would be awesome

Super Stakes

I believe the Super Stakes changed their date in 2012. You had up until October the 1st to get your money won and October 4th to submit your DNA.
