I am looking for an older dog than will be a good pup trainer. I do not have a lot of requirements, primarily just looking for an older dog that perhaps someone is not hunting much anymore but would like to see go to a good home and be hunted and is willing to sell reasonably for its age. I would prefer not to pay 3 year old finished prices for a 10 year old dog. (If I did that, I might as well buy a 3 year old finished dog!). Papers and pedigree are great, but will serve little purpose for what I need. Breed does not matter, I like medium sized dogs, but again for the purpose I do not care.

If you are not willing to show in the woods, I probably will not be interested. Depending on price and location I may not ask but I made the mistake ONCE of buying a dog on good faith, from a UKC forum classified. Unfortunately the bad apples ruin it for everyone.
