Kubota L3901

I’m looking at buying a backhoe/ Loader Anyone got any Good/Bad comment on this Kubota. 39 Hp IS IT ENUFF TRACTOR FOR HOMEOWNERS AND STORM CLEANUP ETC Any Comment Appreciated

I’ve operated one quite a bit. If you are doing clean up have a 3rd function hydraulic added and get a grapple. Awesome for clean up jobs.

Only thing I would change is location of the fuel tank. The Grand L series, which you can get cab less, has the fuel tank down low where filling is much easier IMO.

Thanks Wes This unit has the 3rd function and is equipped with a grapple as well as several other attachments It’s a 2018 with 200 hours So any like to comment about the REGEN ISSUES Thanks for replying

I have an M series. I try to keep the rpms around 2 grand. If it regens just keep on working it. If your rpms aren’t high enough the regen light will flash until you speed it up enough.

Mine is a M7060. The biggest I could get without DEF. I don’t care for anything with DEF.

DPF/DEF issues are common with anything with them installed. Keep DEF system clean (no fluid contamination) and don’t let it idle, DPF needs heat to work properly.

I had a non def 9960 traded iti n on a m5111 with def my fuel use was cut in half i happy with the m5 111
