Cat scan

Does anyone know where I could get a Cat scam done on a dog for a reasonable price in Oklahoma or north Texas? I’ve got a young dog that has a reoccurring abscess in his nose and head area. Responds to antibiotics but as soon as you stop them it comes back. 2 vets both diagnosed it as a foreign object causing it but the problem is exactly where.

I would try to find a vet that specializes in ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat).

Just Google animal imaging CT scan for Texas and Oklahoma. Most of the University vets will have it.

I know you can get it done at OSU but there is a limit on what you can or will afford. We’re trying 20 more days of antibiotics and see if it comes back again. He chews some and we’re pretty positive it went in by a canine tooth. The problem is where is it now. My vet said the last one he sent for a CT scan was $1500 and it was a Yorkie. Even if they find it you will still have surgery.

Had a dog that did that. His nose would swell up and run so bad it actually made his nose turn pink where it was wet all the time.
I went through the same process. Thought it was a foreign object or tooth abscess. X rays and the antibiotics. Even put him under and scoped it .Everything was negative.
He eventually out grew it. Its been so long ago. I eventually came across something that caused it . I am racking my head right now trying to remember what it was called . If I can think of it I will repost.
