Hound Recovery Antenna

Just wondering if anyone has tried one of these roof mount antennas? I was looking at the model with the three magnets as it appears to be more stable in the rugged conditions of the Navajo Nation.
Thanks and Adios,
Gary

Yes I have 1. It does make a big difference here for your reception. Most Garmin can't reach much more than a mile at best and I could consistently pick up dogs at 2.5 miles. Make sure you get the quick connect, other side you'll get fed up having to hook and unhook your Garmin.

I have had the Triple Mag for a few years. This unit has never let me down . I have about every long range antenna since there inception. I have a shop full from the Garmin cell phone to most knockoffs of the Hound Recovery Antenna. If you own running hounds you owe it to them to have this piece of equipment! There are a lot of reviews on Facebook & Wade Holdcroft has a page on tracking dedicated to this product.

They are absolutely worth it — one of the best hunting products I have bought. Around here, we average around .8 miles give or take without it; with it, I can hold service well over three miles usually. I even hit 5+ consistently when conditions are right.

People accuse me of being color blind. The truth is I will hunt red ones, blue ones, black and white ones, yellow ones, black and tan ones, or even brindle ones; Just as long as they are English!
