Michigan United Coonhunters club , Maple Rapids, Mi will be holding a two day event (13th Annual Dan Kolleck Memorial Hunt) Proceeds go to St Judes Childrens Hospital and American Cancer Society. Dates are 23 and 24 June.

Field Trial, Water Race, Bench Show, and Nite Hunt both days.

Friday: 4PM Ft, 6PM WR, 7PM Bench Show, 9PM NH.

Sat: 1PM FT, 4PM WR, 6PM Bench show, 8PM NH

Great hunt. Great cause. Hope to see a huge crowd as always. In the 12 years prior this hunt has donated over $28,000 for cancer funds.

Rain moves out by afternoon, and the rest of the night looks good. Tomorrow afternoon and night chances of rain are only 10-15%.

I will be there helping out with some of the events, but my time is going to be split this weekend between the club and my youngest son's open house.

Weather did clear up and I feel we had a good turnout for the most part, especially for a Friday.

Field Trial and water race was Fair , bench show down but we sent 24 Dogs to the woods to hunt, 11 registered, 9 Nite Champions, and 4 Grand Nites.

Looking forward to Today and hopefully doubling turn out. We have roast pork for lunch and Dinner today and all of the same events plus drawing and prizes to give away. Come on guys and gals come out for a good time.

The Michigan United Coonhunters club had great week end for raising money for The cancer hunt. We had 111 entries for the entire week end and raised well over $3000.00. We put a total of 50 dogs in the woods for the two nights of hunting.
