Iíve had the best luck by putting feed around and in the trap for a day or two to get em use to going in. I put a stick through the trap so it wonít shut. When I need one I just remove the stick. I only do it when Iím home where I can check the trap regularly as they donít seem to last long. Havenít figured that part out yet. Iíve used sunflower seeds and acorns. Both seem to work good.
