I doubt it will happen anytime soon. As long as the Union County Chamber of Commerce is dumping a pile of money to pay the Walker association to come to Union, it will never move. Another thing, the membership doesn't have a vote to where the hunt is held, this decision is made by the officers of the association and if you will look the majority of the officers live close to Union so barring a miracle, I feel like this hunt won't be moved for a while.

Tim, that is why I don't join SETWA. Why pay your money to an organization that you don't have a vote into what happens with the organization. This organization is setup like a dictatorship.and I am afraid that is going to be their downfall.

I haven't hunted SETWD since it moved to SC. The kids have got old enough and took interest in coon hunting, so it may be back in my future. I did hunt in for many years when it was held in Salisbury. Just curious if there is more hunting territory in the area it is held in now? Seemed like the drive got longer to hunting grounds every year. With the number of cast, I guess that is to be expected. I have guided many cast from Salisbury, about 1.5 hours north .

Hope so too!

This was always my favorite hunt of the year, several of us would go spend the weekend in Salisbury every year, went to union twice and just didn’t enjoy it and quit going. But they are probably gonna stay where the money is

Jeffrey we been friends along time an I respect your reasons not to join, I pay my dues every year, that gets me in to the meeting on Saturday also gives me the opportunity to voice my opinions, your opinions would be welcome/needed more than you know.

Tim, I don't blame you, and I understand your reasoning. But for me it seems a waste of time and effort when the officers of the association have already made their minds up and are going to do what they want regardless of what the membership wants.
