I heard there were no special effects used in this picture. Just a couple smoke bombs, the sun coming perfectly through the trees highlighting the dogs and a few coondogs standing naturally.

Id like to be there too see you take next years picture. Must be a trip.

YOUR WIFE DID AN AWESOME JOB. REALLY COOL ADD. BOTH HOUNDS RESEMBLE AND REMIND ME OF A COUPLE I HAD AT ONE POINT IN TIME. GERT SURE SEEMS TO MARK HER OFFSPRING, AS SMOKE SURE REMINDS ME OF GRIZZLY. I want to wish good luck to James Tirey and Silver Creek Rock (Jet x Trixie) on making the final 4 of the CHKC World Hunt. They won in the quarterfinal round tonight to make the top 15 and are hunting the late round to try and advance to final cast. Rock is already the 2016 CHKC World Champion Bluetick and was the 2015 PKC World Champion Bluetick.

Thanks Vic! The cross with Trixie was a real good one. Besides Rock, there was a female who was a Nt.Ch. and won a good amount of $ in PKC, but punctured a lung while hunting and died. Another female in Minnesota has 4 wins toward grand and a male just needs a 1st to title. I am trying to line this cross up again. Trixie was sold to a pleasure hunter and we have been talking.

Thank you very much for the pedigree info. Jake! I had scrolled through your thread on Jet & saw there were multiple litter mates that had their own share of success. I am tickled to death to see a blue dog get entered into an elimination style World Hunt. The Rock dog has proven he can get his share in the $KC World & the $HKC World! As you already mention in your previous posts, he has proven himself in some pretty danged stiff competition, the best to be found in my opinion!

I know everyone has their own preferences, & family/job/life dictate which way the rabbit runs, but I would love to see more Blue dogs get entered into these style hunts.

I respect & appreciate the way you & your dad represent yourselves & your hounds. The hounds have done their own talking, & you guys remain very humble. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words Vic! We appreciate it. Dad and I just plug along and have a few friends that support us and our dogs. We are very happy with what Jet is reproducing and I feel like he is a very underrated stud. I truly believe that he will move up the reproducers list in the next year as there are many more hitting the hunts.

I hope people consider Jet as their next stud choice. Especially if they need an outcross. The litter I raised out of him are doing extremely well. Most have treed on their own and are only 8 months old. He is going to be a silent reproducer.

I couldn't agree more with you. So many drive past him to breed to "so and so" thinking the further they drive, the better dogs they are gonna get. I think some of the best blueticks in the country are in our backyards. I can think of a couple dogs that are flashy coon dogs that don't get bred to much. Joel and Jake are stand up honest people that aren't going to shove their dogs down people's throats. They always seem to be feeding a winner that reproduces the same. I guess it goes back to the ol saying the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
