Well, Otis is a little over ten months old. As Tyler predicted, he started early, and a huge long locate. He blew up on a caged coon around six months old. He started running track with my old gyp, and started treeing with her around eight months old. Now he trees his own coon. This weekend, he put a big boar up a den tree, and had gotten in there and was trying to climb up the inside of the tree. It was pretty wild. He had that sucker corked in the tree. I managed to lay on my back and slide in the hole with my pistol. He was so corked in there, we had to cut a sapling and fish in in the tree to pull him out with. Overall, Otis is kickin butt.

He has pulled a couple slick trees, and bumped some trash, but all in all I think he's doing great in these thin coon for ten months old. Huge bawl mouth. He's only getting out around 150 yards by himself right now though. If he'd stretch that out some more, I'd be totally happy. Maybe with some age.

You got you a good lookin pup there.
Love his structure.

And with age it will come.
If hes doing it now, he will do it even better with a couple more months of what you are doing now, you will see what he is made of. Have owned and hunted several off Trackman, they only get better with age. Love that pup and he will be your friend in and outside of the kennel till the day he dies.
