I had a dog that was returned to me after over a year. I was the original breeder. He was returned with original puppy papers filled out by the owner but was never sent in. My question is how can this dog be registered with a new owner if the papers have the old owners info on the paperwork?

Yes. The new owner would have to fill out one of our Affidavit forms and send it in along with the papers.

If you got a dog, and the papers were filled out but never sent in, then yes, you would need to fill out an Affidavit and send it in with the papers.
