haven't been able to hunt much this week. just a couple nights with young hounds, sunday night I turned a coon loose and cut purdy girl,star and 2 dot sam they got it treed in a nice fashion. was just wanting a good track for them,theyre all litter mates from gallagers star[buzz x Sammy]. last night I cut 2 dot sam by himself. wanted to see what he would do and it looked good,he hesitated a wee bit then off he went and went in 670 and treed, I coukldnt get the coon to look but was real happy with this hound!!if I didn't sell him last night he will be staying here awhile!!! 1 of my favorites so far.

hey all its been a rough few weeks here in my world, but hoping it lightens up!!!! lonesome hasn't been out much so he is a little rusty. I hunted him Thursday night with Henry Miller and they ran what im assuming was a fox or coyote so adjustment was made and .57 later he was treed with 3 big coon in a tree then last night the tree looked slick to me!! but the slammer pup pulled off by himself and got treed in an oak and couldn't find it then him and purty treed a pair, so that made it worth while. I went last night with my buddy chris, slammer ran 1 500 yrds and put it up then had another I couldn't find.so called it a night!!! lonesome has been busy in the dating scene so its showing up!!! he has bred

congrats to Brandon Burt in Minnesota with his 2nd place win with daisy[lonesome II x krayzee] I got to hunt with buck and chase last night it wasn't the best hunt but we treed a couple coons. lonesome was 600 yards in walked all that way and a little sapling on a creek bed looked at it and saw it was empty couldn't believe it yelled at him to go find it!! walked around the tree looked up and it was sitting there as plain as day so I called him back and rewarded him!! next drop slammer had 1st strike and did a great big locate lonesome fell in with him and they had a coon!! bucks pup looked good on tracks and im pretty sure the long ride and new terrain messed with the 13 month old pup lonesome II x mable.there was several hunts in our area but hunting with friends and doing family time sure seems to make more sense

feels good to get out and go again im going to give it another hard run of how many nights in a row I can!! ive ran 8 nights straight and lonesome is in his groove, he made 5 trees in a little over an hour tonight and seen coon in all so that makes it all worth while.purty girl is coming along nicely!! as I expected her to and it will soon be time to start hunting some others ive had held back.i cant wait to see how the season pans out for these blues and it opens in 1 month!!

I hunted purty girl and the mighty blue star tonight along with lonesome we made 1 tree with a coon. then I turned purty girl and slammer loose they ran a track appr. 400 yrds and treed but never seen eyes. when I went home to get hounds yesterday at dark I panicked when I saw slammer had escaped, so I started walking and listening for himand could hear him south of me treed so I went to him and he had the coon so my night started real good!!!GOD IS GOOD!!!
I have a litteer of 2 males and 2 females off stella and lonesome II as of now she is off all my stock I started with in the beginning

another good night with a great friend!!! henry miller came and picked up his bell female and we hunted a little while, we made 3 trees and seen 2 coon the 3rd tree was a little iffy probably empty? but I got to turn roxy loose on the 1st drop then purty girl then lonesome III and of course lonesome II henry hunted bell and kink which is a nice young hound off of bell and Sioux valley jack. thankyou Henry for always being an ear to listen and a super great friend. your a lot tougher than I am I know I couldn't do that trip to often!!!

had to do a short hunt tonight 1st dump I turned out 2 dot sam and purty girl they got in 400 yrds and treed , not a great job on the tree but had the coon so I moved and cut the itty bitty female and lonesome, she didn't wanna hunt so put her up and cut purty girl they went in 600 and treed purty wasn't real interested in treeing on it and we came home!!

HAD A GOOD HUNT WITH RODNEY AND WYATT CLARK!!! THEY TOOK THEYRE PUP SMURF OUT OF LONESOME AND KRAYZEE HE LOOKED REALLY NICE, HE IS PRETTY INDEPENDENT ALSO, I TOOK SLAMMER AND LONESOME LONESOME GOT TREED WITH A COON WHILE SMURF AND S LAM WERE RUNNING TRACKS CUT LONESOME OFF AND HE JOINED SLAMMER SMURF TREED IN A BUSHY OAK COULDNT FIND IT CUT HIM BACK AND HE SNUCK IN ON LONESOME AND TREED A LITTLE AHEAD OF HIM SO HIM AND LONESOME HAD A COON,YES I WAS IMPRESSED MEANWHILE SLAMMER WAS 275 FURTHER TREED SO WENT TO HIM AND IT WAS A BUSHY OAK NO COON SEEN RECUT AND LONESOME WENT DEEPERGOT TREED AND SMURF FELL IN WITH HIM NEVER FOUND IT, RECUT ANDLONESOME GOT TREED AND FOUND IT SMURF TREED IN A DEN THEMN GOT TREED AGAIN WHILE LONESOME WAS HELD UP WITH ME COULDNT FIND IT WENT 669 TO SLAMMER AND HE HAD A DEN. went with brian and his timber dog!! lonesome nailed the night he looked really good on 3 trees. then turned purty girl loose on a road coon she still needs work but did manage to get treed.never seen it but didn't try to hard

I had the pleasure of hunting with the tennesee boys tonite jess and landon parsons and their friends Colby and ray!!! I had alotta fun and its always so nice to see people enjoy our country and the coon we have!!! to see a young 13 year old boy get so excited over our sport is a 2nd to none moment and to make new friends is an overwhelming feeling and a big part of why I do this crazy sport, im not sure how many trees we made but several and several coon seen in them. it makes me happy to see a couple of real nice young prospects leave home and go to such awesome people!! thankyou Ray,Jess,Colby and Landon, for all the fellowship and for purchasing ole 2 dot sam and his sister star!!!
I really think they will shine in them thar hills of tennesee

I took my grandson hunting tonight he is a joy to hunt with,we didn't see a coon but the slammer dog made a couple trees,the wind was so strong that I didn't waste a lot of time looking when you never know if a limb could snap and hit someone. Karsen really enjoyed it and the slammer dog really impresses me with his ability to wind them coon

finally got to go hunting with my youngest son!! we took lonesome II his sister roxy purty girl and lonesome III First drop was purty and lonesomeII lonesome got treed purty didn't look real great 2nd drop was roxy and lonesome they tracked a good while tapped a few trees and finally treed in a brushy oak that was broke off 25 feet or so none seen last drop was II and III they got deep and swung baxck around and got treed with eyes looking down!!! im loving my lonesome III pup and cant wait to see lonesome III x roxy due in 30 days or so!!!

well I had a lot of fun and done a little winning in the early round. he looked fair in the late round.he just made a fatal mistake we started out with con 1st strike then asas English the mine then rex crow treed and con backed lonesome went on deeper they had a coon lonesome was 460 away I went handled him while they scored tree crow came into lonesome but it was a den recut him and crow crow treed and while shining it lonesome half way trees so after cirle crows tree put stationary on lonesome I treed him after 4 minutes and wouldn't you know he got company he got quiet when we got tjhere he was in the creek so minus 100no coon seen recut he went in 365 fell treed I treed him but had to score crow again as he was treed in the ground went to lonesome and it was a big cottonwood with a coon!! asa and I was tied but he had more plus strike points so there went that wish lol!!!m thanks for the kind words Vic!!!!

I haven't been on here for a few days but the hunting hasn't stopped, almost to make my 30 day stretch I think tonight is it or tomorrow, doesn't matter but its been real and its been fun it just aint been real fun lol.ive really been pushing the slammer pup and man what a difference he has made!! this pup has impressed me more than any hound ive started last night we turned loose 3 times and he was by himself each turn out!!! he went the opposite way of each hound struck 1st and would get treed !!! the 1st drop he went tro our right struck and was pushing it good and brains timber dog cut in and beat him to the tree but slammer was right on it!! then we recast and he again was 1st strike and tree but missed it but we had seen it sitting there earlier so recast him towards timber who was treed and he went about 200 yards fell treed and had that one!! lonesome was 500 deeper with a big brushy tree I couldn't shine very well. and timber had a coon to, so we had 5 trees and seen 3 coon which isn't very good but it was short and fun Krayzee had her pups from buzz but don't think they will make it seemed awful weak!! and the squaw walker female has 4 healthy pups from lonesome

didn't turn lonesome loose tonight. it was windy and I was tired so I cut slammer and III loose they didn't get struck and got hit by an electric fence so I moved and recast slammer by himself and he put on a show on a good track made it look easy then I came home. our 10 day lay up starts today but I don't see me sleeping during it guess I will hit some hunts
