I would like to take a trip in January, I would like to find a place that has lots of squirrels, I know lots of you have traveled and hunted all over. Any thought? Thanks.

Our squirrels moved out, wonder if there are any in the Carolinas or Georgia. Is there a lot of public land in Ms, and La?

The ones in NC are pretty tough right now. Most are hanging close to dens, you only will find a few right at daylight and again right before dusk except in bottom areas where there are vine covered trees.

Yes there is plenty of govt. land in Ms. and La.

We still have quite a few squirrels in southern Ky. Also have a lot of public land to hunt. I have sent you a pm. Best of luck on killing a bunch where ever you end up.
