These old timer threads are good for us old guys, it helps ward off alzheimers, get us to using our brains. I kind of hesitate doing it, as some folks might think we made it all up.
I was at a breed sectional up in Missouri a few years back, went in to pay my entry and wait for draw out, one of the guys taking entries looked up at me and asked if I remembered him, I racked my mind, but couldn't place him. I apologized and said I didn't, so he introduced himself and said he was in the cast the night a female I had won the state hunt; he saw her tree five singles and win high scoring dog. That was when winning a state hunt was a big deal; everybody wanted to win the state hunt, they were usually the biggest hunt of the year.

My dogs won it twice the imbroidered coat I won with bozz has not ever been worn. Tom you remember when everybody had caps and jackets with their dogs on it ! I miss those days.
