Help Please any Suggestions??

So the other night either my hound ran a stick in her eye or she has got something in her eye. My question is what is a good antibiotic to use to prevent infection and what are some good eye drops someone would recommend using?? Thanks

.

I would suggest the vet. They have the instruments and knowledge to make sure the eye is clear. They also should know if the damage will heal on its own or need some assistance from them. It would be a shame that some foreign particle was still in the eye and you treated it and all seemed well only to have an infection at a later date that could cost the dog an eye.

Hope all this works out well for you and your dog.
