Never been much to show dogs been more of a competition hunter/pleasure hunter all my life so I’m really not up to date on the rules. My question is is my 10 yr old son has a 1 yr old Black and Tan male he wants to show. Only problem is in one of his eyes he is blind and kinda cloudy/ greyed over so can this hound even be shown dog was born blind in one eye.

Unfortunately for this dog, blindness is listed as a disqualifying fault.

I appreciate it. We will figure something out even if I have to buy him another hound to show he’s hooked on it and wants to compete
