I believe before you can bring them into NC you'll need to have them inspected by the NC Department of Agriculture for foul brood as well as them not coming from an area with Africanized honey bees. I'm a beekeeper and don't need Africanized bees introduced in to NC and affecting mine as well as other bee keepers. If you have them inspected and all is well I don't have a problem.
