The 4th annual Eastern Carolina Challenge will be held in Smithfield, NC on November 26th, 2016. The location is the Johnston County Wildlife Club located at 1441 Swift Creek Road, Smithfield, NC. There will be a new format to determine the overall hunt champion this year. There will be a hunt off of the 1st place Gr. Nite, 1st place Nite Ch., and 1st place registered winner to determine the overall hunt champion. $500 will be awarded to the winner of this cast. $100 will be awarded to the overall bench show champion. Lights will be given the high scoring dog in each division. There will be nice prizes given to the winners in both the show and hunt. Please make your plans now to attend.

Don't forget this Saturday is the big day, by then you will be so full of turkey and will need to walk off a few pounds so come out and hunt your dog and get your exercise at the same time.

Only one more day before this hunt takes place, leaving about 10 in the morning to head to Smithfield to get ready for the big day. A lot of work has gone into this hunt to try to make this a great event for the hunters in the eastern part of NC. The officers of our association do all this on our on dime because we love the sport and want to put on events that our hunters will enjoy. We need your support to make these hunts profitable, all proceeds from this hunt goes to buy prizes for the state hunt, so please make your plans to attend.
