I'm talking about a hound that looks like a hound with a big block head that will go hunting but start hunting as soon as its turned loose, not run 500 yards before it starts hunting.
I have a nice female off of Drop Dead Fred that will be bred for the first time when she comes in, never bred before, I want a older type hound like Yadkin Tar Rattler was.

You can say what you want, but he has some great bloodlines.
He is owned by Tim Tillman. I think he has him advertised in the American Cooner Jan issue.

Don't know if he is the best, but he is out of old stock. Heard he was throwing some good pups.

.....I found a pup out of Obamas littermate sister and an old 12 year old dog that tim owns called Boss who is off a bro. to the old dual grand ch. spring creek dewey..remember him?

I dont usually hunt males but this is the smartest pup I have had on my place in a while and I have owned some smart ones.

I would have to say you gave this guy a good place to start in my opinion. this old blood is hard to find. This semen that Obama is out of is 17 years old.
Im sold on it so far.

You Definitely might want to check out Dozer. He's off of Skuna River Fred and double Tar Rattler on his bottom. Reproducing some real nice hounds with big mouths.

Tim, came up here to Minnesota looking for some old blood he used to have , but the male he found was to old and sterile, also a female too old.( litter mates) I owned a litter mate to them that was hit by a car and killed at less then 1 and1/2 years old. At that age he was as good as I had ever owned. Talked to Tim at AO this year again . Tim, to me has a very good breeding program. He is breeding for what I call ABC breeding. Ability, Brains, Confirmation. Can't ask for more.

just like that but pedigree is flipped.

My pups dad is a 12 year old out of a littermate to the sue dog on the bottom of that pedigree you posted and my pups mom is a semen pup off of fred and a littermate to his Obama dog. Ive seen videos of her split treeing with another dog about 60 yards apart. Nice little tree dog.

He has the makings to be the real deal. He looks like old Finley river dan and is one of the smartest pups I have seen.
He has retreed 3 turn loose coons by scent and I am hunting him by himself right now. Loud mouth and one stylish tree dog.

so far has been pretty darn fast on track. Just a pup but coming along nicely. I can open the dog pen and tell him to go get on the 4-wheeler and he will be there when I get there.

He will be studish material if he finishes out. He's off to a good start. Love his head.

If he tops out in the next 6 months, you'll probably see me putting a stud ad on him.

He was treeing a hide at 5 months old and treeing a drag at 5.5 mo old.

Hobo James Turpin owner of the leading performance ukc dog at this time Insane Cain told me the same thing 20 years ago.

He said unless you bred to them all no one would ever know where the best stud dog out there were at or who owned it.
