Blairsville, Pennsylvania

What is the hunting like around Blairsville, Pennsylvania? Coon population? Rivers? Mountains? Fields? I have never hunted Pennsylvania so I am thinking of trying the zones there this year. Has the zones been there before? How many dogs are expected? Thanks in advance.

People accuse me of being color blind. The truth is I will hunt red ones, blue ones, black and white ones, yellow ones, black and tan ones, or even brindle ones; Just as long as they are English!

Blairsville

Can be a mix depending on the guide you get. They have farms, big mountains to the east, to the west smaller hills and valleys, plenty of streams and creeks... Plenty of coon and off game too.. If you got the dog power you can run up a big score there..

Yeah, I competition hunt !! All Fall and Winter long.. My Blues compete with the local coon.. My Blues win a ton !!! We use and recommend MOONSHINER LIGHTS, Peggs , Ok.

We have a mix of everything at the Blairsville club like Wayne mentioned. The coon population is very good most of our guides are capable of bringing back very respectable scores. We held the zones in 2013 and 2014 and brought in some of the highest two night scores of the zones. We expect over 80 dogs being that the finals location is only 3 hours from our club
