HELLO, Im not looking to brag on this dog and run up a buncha hype, but sure would like to breed him to a top female if anybody reasonably close wud be interested.
Private treaty depending on the female.
He hasnt ever been comp hunted, but his ability and that of his family tree speaks for itself. ( i have little doubt this dog wudsa granded out if i was into comp hunting....BEST BLUE TREE DOG I HAVE EVER HUNTED )

So, far Rocky has sired 2 litters and it seems as though he is producing some good ones.
He is a TREE DOG that opens according to track and is straight coon......if he trees he stays and when ya unsnap him he will get treed...no bull, thats just the way it is.

Rocky is 8+ yrs old.....

Heres a pict from last nite. Took 2 young males out n left the ole dogs home. The Bullet dog from the Rocky x lucy cross has been sittin under coon lately so we decided to just run him w my 1yr old pup outta rockyx mercedes cross (breezyoaks boot Scooter).
Anyway, cut em out and scooter struck right away, he seems to b able to push a trak pretty good so dint suprise me when he moved from 200 to 600 yds in a few mins on the run. Cupl times i wundered if mayb hed struk a side of venison because of the fast track but he headed direct towards a quarry about a half mile away. At 840yds i lost communication w both dogs on the garmin....an hour later, still no dogs on astro, thus i hoofed it in from another road....heres the verdict....2 dogs down in a cracked wall of abandoned quarry....18 feet up.
Cudnt turn around and no where to.go.....4 hrs later w a 24 ft ladder we hoisted em out....judist....

Anyway, im still happy, dogs are safe and ole boot scoot is getting better ea time out....lotta drive and moves a trak. Now just brushin up on the tree.

The one thing that sticks out in thez pups to me is the drive. They wanna get gone hunting off the tailgate....
The mercedes cross shud be gettinh their schooling this sezn.
Im planning to hear alot more like what im seeing in scooter.

Heres my buddys dog Bullet at it again tonight, he hasnt ever been hunted alot at 2.5 yrs old but this year he ends up sittin under a coon durn near every dump. He is independent and kinda tight lipped but one nice tree dog.
Looks n sounds alot like his sire..(.runnin rocky x loney lucy).

Rock is Rattler bred X lucy (thorsens dutch).

Turned the rock dog loose about 7pm tonite,, kinda thinkin the boars are starting to move more, last cupl times out have treed boars.

( Ron..)..in my mind the ukc hunts are great to keep youth involved in hounds, but yes u are dead on that a dog dont need a title to reproduce or tree ringtails.

Im a believer that there are some dogs getting too much action in the breeding pen, and others being overlooked....but it is what it is.....thanks for the comments....
