Took Kid to Jasper tonight got double cast wins finished him to grand nite made three trees had three coons by himself on all three

Keep up the good work guys I like how he’s bred and I hear he’s the right kind I’ve seen videos nice tree dog. I hope to get a pup off him someday. If he’s bred to Bird later on put me on the list. Thanks

Hunted Kid at Jasper Sat. Got 2 cast wins to finish to GrNt He has won 4 out of 5 with the 5th a dead cast since we got him back
Hunted Son&Bird 3 nights last week. Tue Bird made 1 tree with 1 coon trailed it 300yd cold & done a good job. Son was 2 for 2 with 1 being easy & the other was cold & did good. Thu we hunted Bird&Son together. First turn out they trailed 400yd along Cain Creek then turned up a hill & Son tree in a big pine close to a deer feeder. Bird didn't tree & we couldn't find anything. WE moved back to the bottoms & sent them the other way.They went 200yd & struck cold After trailing to the edge of a swamp area Bird treed on a big pine. Couldn't find that one either. We moved to another place up the creek. They struck cold &worked up a long hill where they got it to moving & both came tree about the same time rite at the top.The last time I made that hill I swore never again but it's hard to turn down 2 pups calling like that After finaly getting there they were on a big den . I believe them but my feet sure have paid the price. Fri we turned them in the same spot early & they hit agood track about 200yd & both came treed. We made our way across the creek & to a large poplar with a big coon We gave it to them tho we don't often Keep Em Blue!!!

Had some decent hunts last week even with the full moon. Borrowed Kid from Pepper(LOL) a couple nites. First time I hunted with him since I sold him 2 1/2 years ago . Not much changed except his mouth. Wed nite wasn't so good we only looked at one that Bird tree alone. Thur we cast Kid & Son first and Kid soon showed Son how its done . He had a coon quick in first fork of a big oak. Son went on 150yd & treed on a tree leaning into another tree across a big creek. Ol coon won that one. We moved & turned Son alone He struck & soon crossed Cain Creek trailed up a long hill then 300yd and turned back down close to creek & come treed. We drove pretty close but couldn't get across the creek We could see the tree from our side. He had 2 coons so we let him tree about 10 min then called him across. We moved & turned Bird alone where she hit a track off a feeder for 200yd & treed on the bank of a slew in a huge oak. Barry finaly found it. Sat we turned Bird & Son on a feeder & they hit a hot track 100yd & Bird nailed it Son finaly backed her. It was a big holler oak but I'm sure it was there. We moved & they crossed the creek & treed When we got there they were 10ft apart with coon in both trees neither one looked at the other. Verry Happy!!! Keep Em Blue!!!

Been having up & down hunting the last 3wks Don't know whats wrong but one nite you strike everywhere you turn then the next 3 you can't buy a srike. Only thing I can think of is coons are moving to all the corn feeders deer hunters have in places we don't hunt. We've been hunting Son&Bird about 50% together & 50% alone. Bird has treed more coons together but they've been pretty close alone.
Last week I hunted Son alone Wed & cut him 6 times without a strike.He don't hunt too far alone maybee 2 to 400yd thats usually far enough. Thur we hunted Bird&Son They treed one deep together in a rough place so we gave it to them. Then Bird treed one & Son went50yds past her & split on a den. We then cut them once each alone where Bird treed another one. Good hunt Fri we pulled up to a place we usually walk 300yd to turn loose to get away from road but Son came out of truck barking & dragging me so I hesitantly cut him loose. He started toward houses & I was getting nervous but at 100yd he turned & headed toward creek bottom. He went 600yd to creek then took a right up the creek 400yd He stopped & circled round a little then treed. We made it to him & he was on a small tree going thru a big pine.I soon had eyes in the pine. Verry glad We made another tree but no coon. Keep Em Blue!!!

Well I guess we're back in the puppy buisness. Babe gave birth to 15 pups 3 were stillborn. Raising a litter of pups gets to be a job but I enjoy seeing them grow up. If nothing bad happens we should have several for sale. $200 either sex

Slim X Babe pups are doing fine.Lost 2 the first couple days but the rest are looking good. 4 females & 6 Males Can deliver at the Winter Classic.
We hunted Son & Bird Tue one at a time. Son treed a quick one first turnout then Bird answered with one. Then we turned each loose without sriking. Son got on a real bad track & finaly made a slick tree. Last cut Bird took a track 400yd out of the bottoms over a hill to a big den. It rained till Sat so we hit the high ground. It was a rough nite with each one making a den on real bad tracks. We decided to call it a short nite. Keep Em Blue!!!

Barry and I have decided to give Pepper Blackmon 1/3 interest in GrNtCh Ch Bama Blue Kid. Not Realy giving because he has done so much work hunting & handling Kid & Slim. We appreciate what he's done!!!
I've had 2 bad hunts this week with Son. He has hunted all I could expect any 13mon only hit a couple real bad tracks that he didn't even pull a bark. Can't figure where the coons are at. Barry hunted Bird last nite at a different place and had the same problem. If these storms get out we'll probably try it again tonight. Keep Em Blue!!!

Our hunting has been awful all month. Last week we were only able to hunt 2 nites Fri we hunted Son &Bird.We cut Bird 3 times she treed twice on real bad tracks once inhuge tree with holes then in a pine 0 coon . We cut Son 4 times & no strike. Sat we dropped them together first . They struck & got deep. We drove around & Bird was treed Son backed her. We got within 50yd and she had a coon up a tree beside a bluff. Next we cut Bird alone and she hit a bad track & treed an oak on the creek bank. No coon but I think she was winding There was 2 coons in a tree across the creek. We dcided to call it a nite. Maybe next week will be better. Keep Em Blue!!!
