I've been contacted by a family that found a young male B&T, probably about a year old, in Douglasville TX on 12/23/13

When they were approached by the hound, he had a severe puncture wound in one leg, ringworm, fleas, and was very skinny, but was friendly and seemed leash and crate trained. Very sweet tempered. No collar. They asked around town, but no one had any idea where he might be from.
They've doctored him up, but the family were from the Houston area and brought the dog back there with them. They have two other dogs and don't really want to keep the hound and would be delighted to find his real owner and return him. Please pm me for more information if you think he might be yours or have any leads as to where he belongs.

B&T in Manhattan shelter

there's a decent looking B&T in a Manhattan NYC shelter right now. They have a stupid-looking coat on him so its hard to see how he's built They remark that he came in as a stray feb 23 and is available for adoption 2/26. Weighs 56 lbs, which doesn't sound that skinny to me, although they're saying he is emaciated.

He was picked up in the Cypress Gardens area of the city, which has an enormous cemetery and is near several very busy highways--ccould have escaped during transport. Anyone who sees this who is a member of the Harlem River/Highbridge coon club, please get the word out--they'll be adopting this one out ASAP. I did put a few calls in to B&T breeders near the city who might have bred him. Looks like a hound any hunter would be proud to own, and they haven't neutered him yet.

these are rescue people, so be prepared to make a stink to get him back. I would not mention that you are a hunter in the initial email., just that your dog is missing. You may need law enforcement assistance retrieving him, or at least a plausible explanation of how long he's been missing and give assurance that he's getting adequate medical care.
If he's yours and they give you trouble, pm me and I'll do my best to exert some influence on your behalf...

Taylor a four yr. old Treeing Walker was taken from on or near Wards Bridge Rd. in Duplin county, North Carolina around 10pm 4/5/2014 while hunting in a UKC event. Taylor was wearing a GPS tracking collar, a sport dog e-collar and a green nylon name tag collar when she was taken. Taylor has a Black Blanket back with a little tan trim between the black and her while underside, a rich tan (red) head. Along the spine there is a tint of tan hair mingle in with the black. Taylor sports a big course mouth and trees with a bawl and chop. A reward is offered for the return of Taylor along with information that could help prosecute the person responsible for this cowardly act. I have a video of Taylor treeing but do not know how to include it. some help getting the video up would be appreciate as well as the return of my hound. Thanks for reading.

A pair of male Walkers was picked up by a couple staying at a cabin near Stone Mountain State Park in North Carolina. One appears to be about 5 years old, one about nine months. The couple brought them home to Denver, NC where they are currently being boarded at Barkin Buddies, a fancy boarding facility. They have been bathed vaccinated, etc. and are still intact. They did not have collars when found and they were skinny with sore pads. This couple means well and will return them to owners. See a picture here:

There's a good-looking young male redbone in the Pinehurst Animal Shelter in Orange, TX. Looks healthy and well-muscled, about a year old.

Hello my name is Traci James, I volunteer at a small Shelter located in Orange, Texas. About 2 months ago[early April] this Pup was brought into our shelter. He had been picked up as a stray. I know that he is some kind of hound, but I'm just not sure which one. I network all of our Shelter animals on Facebook, our page is called "Help The Animals at Pinehurst Animal Shelter or it comes up as Pinehurst Animal Shelter. Someone on our page stated that he looked like a Coonhound.

I named him Cletus and he is probably around one year old. Very sweet fella, loves attention. Our Shelter unfortunately doesn't provide any vetting or spay / neuters!

Anyone near Watertown or Johnson Creek Wisconsin missing a Walker female? Had our house dog at a kennel for the weekend and saw a flyer. 9-12 month old. Real nice looking found south of Watertown. Not sure who has her now, but it said to call them to adopt. If you need more details p.m. me and I will give you the kennels # to get in contact with whoever has her.
