HOUSES IDAHO STUD

My computer has been down I need to brag on my partner Tom Hopkins he drove all the way to Idaho to breed Lucille to Houses Jay, it was a hard trip. Looks good should have some little Lippers mid Nov.
While he was there my other partner Carnell Ericson sent me an outstanding pup out of Jay and a Screaming Lawman female. If our Lucille pups are like him we have hit a Grand Slam. He's got it all.

Thanks Tom and Carnell , two good men trying to produce the right kind of Joe House style hounds.

I am sure most have never seen a picture of House's Queen. She was the dog that started the House strain of walkers. She was the mother of House's Bawlie and House's Chief. She is the foundation of the House blood.

This is how Joe House described Queen.

House's Idaho Stud

Paul.. Stud 's pic sure reminds of Lipper's
pics as a pup. After hauling him from
Idaho, I could tell he had a head full of sense
And a great mouth,

10 months old ,its still growing.

i have 5 pups (5mths old)now that i thought were going to be small, but in the last couple weeks they started growing and the way their feet and legs look ,if they grow into them some of them may bump the 26-27" mark.

i keep the smaller(medium) type dogs, some are bigger depending on what else is in the ped,but i have better luck with this size..
the males are normally a little bigger, but i dont keep many over 25-26 " tall..

some people like the bigger ones and been breeding some of that great dane stuff into the walkers..

but the way i look at it those longer legs dont help any if the dog doesnt have the grit to stop the game once it catchs it..
these little dogs i think are quicker and more angile in tighter places..

i guess if i was hunting yotes then maybe the longer legs might come in handy, but thats why some people put the greyhound mix's in the pack..
