Hey Tim, this is Jay put me down for a female and let me know what pick I am if you will. I'm guessing they will be ready about the last of feburary. Just let me know, as I have that male from the last cross. He is the LOUDEST dog on the place, and I got some that ain't hard to here. If she is anything like this male, I can't go wrong. It was tough hunting Friday night, we had den trees, holes, dozer piles but finally got to see some coon. I hunted with Larry Carlin, Mr Redman, Bill Kaneal, Doug Linn and Alex. Got to see some good dog work by the young dogs, they would put an end to every track. We hunted until it started to rain and then we went back to the bunkhouse.

I didn't go back out Sat night, I took a pretty good spill Friday night, I was pretty stiff and sore and didn't think that I could walk in the mud. We had a GREAT MEAL, GRILLED CHICKEN, POTATOE SALAD, BAKED BEANS, PIES and CAKES. I believe everyone got filled up.............Tim

Timmy and I had a great time friday night. Thanks to Paul for taking us out.
The food was great and we got to see some old friends and make new ones.
How did it go Saturday?
We hunted at home with the Grand-sons. It was super windy but thank God for Garmins. We managed to tree a few and saw several on the way home.
Timmy and I hunted last night and watched Ole Smoke put it on Lou and Pearl. They were huffin and puffin to keep up with him. He looked awesome.
We had a great time friday huntting with Paul and Richard. Got to see some good dog work and some TREE DOGS. We had ole dead eye Timmy shootin for us. Now I have to get a laser for our guns. Paul spoiled Timmy with his. Dont think I will get one like Arts, I will buy a factory made job! I have no idea how Art got his made and sighted in!haha

They brought Wacker down and hunted him Fri, Sat and Sunday. Every one that hunted with him said that he looked really good, and what a tree dog. He will get some breeding from the hunt. I hunted Ranger Fri night and seen some coon, it was really rough hunting. I didn't hunt Sat due to taking a spill Fri, was still a little stove up. Paul hunted Fri, Sat and Sun, he said Wacker sure looked good Sunday............Tim

Thanks for a fantastic hunt last night, you have to admit that's about as good as it gets. I can't get over how "BALANCED" a hound ole Ranger is......drifted an ole feeding track and flat used his mouth like I like, here then there. A nice track, then that slam-dunk lay-up in the frost. And a den that we could see the coon. Three "big" boar coon a den and a cell phone, I don't think we could have scripted it any better than that.

sorry to here you fell, be careful, we can,t afford for one of our MAD DOG SCIENTIST to go down now, glad Wacker did good, sounds like Ranger did a nice job last night, is he finished out or do you still need a few more, I know when me and you and Paul hunted him he did the same thing, drifted a track, used his mouth wisely, then stuck a tree with a coon in it.

members need to start getting to some competition hunts and win some casts. I am speaking to myself. LOL. We are gearing up for winter classic. I look forward to the time there are at least three of us all over the country reporting wins by our hounds in the same weekend on here like it used to be. 2010 was a fun year for us. Looking forward to 2012. Year 2011 was a great year for others of team Mad Dog just not our year. LOL. One thing for sure these are well bred competition hounds that will win if given the opportunity.

The pup that they are talking about is out of Crystal (litter mate to Smokes mother) and Turk. Hope this cross works as good as Turk and Noodles. So far they have the looks and BIG mouths, only time will tell on the ability. Danny Faris may have a couple left...........Tim

Talked to Gerald Everett, Ark. and he sure is liking his pup sired by Turk and out of his female. This pup is 4 1/2 mos old and treeing on a drag and fought the first coon he ever saw like an old dog. He said that when the pup trees you can't hardly count the chops, the pups name is Ruger and you will be hearing from him.

Gerald also has a female that he calls Shelly (GR NT Wacker x GR CH NT CH Jessie) that is doing a great job for him, she will get treed and hold the pressure. She will be in the hunts soon...........Tim

Big Brother and I went out for a little while last night, he took Astro and I had Ranger. We turned Ranger loose in the first ditch, he struck in about 150 yds, worked along the creek for another 200 yrds and fell treed on a big ole den. The second dump was Astros turn, he struck about 125 yrds along a corn field ran another 100 yrds and fell treed on a big ole oak with the meat curled up sound asleep, a big ole boar that must have weighed 20 lbs. The third drop was Rangers turn again, he went in about 300 yrds and struck a cold track, worked it here and thers for another 400 yrds and came treed on another den tree. When we got back to the truck and seen that it was 22 degrees we decided it was time to head home. "Can't make a coon dog in one night" Got home at 11:00...........Tim

last night. Ranger and Psyco looked good and had the meat hangin. Turned Moe and Robin loose on the next dump and Moe caught one on the ground. I have no idea what Robin was doing but she wasn't in on it.
Still had a blast with everybody. Got home at 2:30 and right back up at 6:00 for work. I don't feel to bad right now but I know it will wear on me later.
Congrats to Mark Brown on being a new Mad Dog team member. He bought Mad Dog Pscyo last night from Danny. Mark and Pscyo will have a blast togather this kill season.
