Good Eve Everyone

Just getting on here. Busy day, Bob had to take our son Dylan to the airport early so I was on my own dealing with feeding the mutt as well as my normal chores. This is the worlds hardest hound to feed... he has to "perform" for his food(he sings)... and we have to bribe him some to eat. He WILL go days without food... tried that in the beginning with him... and with his odd health we can't let him get low on food... so he wins...LOL.. He would SO not be a pleasure to any normal home
We had a very nice walk and saw yote and deer tracks all over. NICE big buck tracks... wishing there was a cam out on the neighbors...since we NEVER see the darned deer.
Weather was SO much nicer today! SUnny and in the high 40s...
Kelley,
I had a bit of tachicardia at one point. Luckily my heart tests all showed a very strong heart. I finally decided that without my antianxiety meds(I've taken them since brain injury)... I was between meds... going on EBAY and getting into a bidding war... would make me more than a little anxious... and that PROBABLY triggered mine! I do NOT go on there now...LOL... When it happens try to think of something wonderful, lik sitting in the woods at night, hearing the night sounds and waiting for the hounds to sing or something... Nice deep breaths as if you smell some yummy cookies baking... It MAY help slow it down a wee bit?
Take care and get out and enjoy those woods!
HappyHunting, Y'all! HEather

REB, CONGRATS AND YOU ARE RIGHT. MY FATHER TAUGHT ME TO HUNT. HAS BEEN WITH ME WHENI HARVESTED MANY DEER. I HAVE HELPED HIM DRAG MANY OUT. NOW I ALSO CUT THEM ALL UP. I WAS FORTUNATE TO HAVE HIM. ALSO LAST YEAR HE WAS WITH MY SON AND ME WHEN MY SON SHOT HIS FIRST DEER EVER AT 12 YEARS OLD. HE WAS ACTUALLY IN THE TREE STAND WITH US. I HAVE PICS OF THE TWO OF THEM. SOMETHING I WILL NEVER FORGET. MY FATER BUILT THE STAND, IT IS CLOSED IN AND BOTH MY TWO OLDEST HAVE HARVESTED BUCKS OUT OF IT. I CALL IT THE CONDOMINIUM.

JUST ALOT OF MEMORIES I WILL ALWAYS HAVE.

POST PICS IF YOU HAVE THEM.

Ya'll keep us in your prayers too. I brought my mother home from the hospital today. She is 95 and broke her hip three weeks ago. She walked up the steps though and she's settled in. They told me she has to have 24/7 looking after. Pencil on paper does't take long to figure there is 168 hrs in a week and two sitters will be 80 hrs leaving 88 hrs. after it costs 1,000 -1,400 $ per week for the sitters, and that is exactly what they do-sit. Thank God she is home and recuperating. I hope I can make as much as the sitters cost.

On another bright side, I did get to coon hunt 4 times and got 30 coons so I got some good memories already from this year to think on and know I got dogs worth feeding too. She's tough, so I got a feeling that before the season is over, which depends on the alligators around here , not on the calendar, she will be where I can slip off every now and again.

WIll be praying! My mum is 91 now... and very independant still. Her older sister was nearly 95 when she left us years ago and lived a few GREAT years after some falls and breaks... We wonder HOW my mother manages to fly around like a loon.. falling on occasion and NOT breaking anything yet? Good bones I guess... It is awesome and NOT awesome to have older parents... I enjoy EVERY moment with my Mum.....
Bob and I will pray for your mom and family!
Heather

SORRY DUDE... I'll be routing for the Pats! BUT... at least if the Steelers win I can feel good for you... and if the Pats stink as much as they have recently they will DESERVE to lose! Brady's hair...LOL... I still say if his amazingly gorgeous wife likes it... he'll keep it that way. He is SO not my type I don't like his hair short or long... He's too much of a Ken doll type... I prefer my men a bit rougher looking...LOL... Thank Heavens Bob doesn't mind me liking to look! Then again I look at beautiful women just as much... My dad WAS a cosmetic surgeon... so I always love to look at people...and animals...and art... and nature and... EVERYTHING!

I'm here early since I didn't have to go do chores yet. Bob has today off(had to work yest. )... and he threw bird seed out... Now he has driven to hike with Webster out at the conservation land he saw the big buck on. He is armed with food water and honey to keep Web going, in hopes that THAT may prevent seizure.... HOPE so. May have some pix later, we'll see?

GOOD MORNING TO ALL! Heather

GOT THIS IN EMAIL
A lawyer and a senior citizen are sitting
next to each other on a long flight.

The lawyer is thinking that seniors are so dumb that he
could get one over on them easy.

So the lawyer asks if the senior would like to play a fun game.

The senior is tired and just wants to take a nap, so he
politely declines and tries to catch a few winks.

The lawyer persists saying that the game is a lot of
fun. I ask you a question, and if you don't know the
answer, you pay me only $5.
Then you ask me one, and if I don't know the answer, I will
pay you $500, he says.

This catches the senior's attention and to keep the lawyer
quiet, he agrees to play the game.

The lawyer asks the first question. 'What's the
distance from the Earth to the Moon?'

The senior doesn't say a word, but reaches into his pocket,
pulls out a five-dollar bill, and hands it to the lawyer.

Now it's the senior's turn. He asks the lawyer, 'What
goes up a hill with three legs, and comes down with four?'

The lawyer uses his laptop and searches all references he
could find on the Net.

He sends e-mails to all the smart friends he knows;
all to no avail.
After an hour of searching, he finally gives up.

He wakes the senior and hands him $500. The senior
pockets the $500 and goes right back to sleep.

The lawyer is going nuts not knowing the answer. He
wakes the senior up and asks, 'Well, so what goes up a hill
with three legs and comes down with four?'

The senior reaches into his pocket, hands the lawyer $5 and
goes back to sleep

Very good Corky!

Bob had nice hike with Webster... no pix though. He took some video of a hawk... but I didn't keep it, since it was not so good... They came upon a gut pile on the power lines. Someone got a deer... Bob is TIRED! lol... Poor guy has to stay up late tonight to listen to some friends in a band play locally... THEN he as to get up early tomorrow to do his chores before he goes to.... BEERFEST in RI... he won tix. We're assuming they taste all sorts of beers? Who knows but I sure am not going... HATE the smell of beer! LOL...

I have a couple pix I took of Web BEGGING for my seat on the sofa the other day... just took em off the camera... Here they are... TOO cute NOT to share, excuse his bizarre colored eyes!

have a GREAT night, everyone, Heather

Dang, you should have got up and let him have his chair back LOL!

THis dawg ALWAYS gets the seat! It's pathetic! If we don't move for him... he pretends he's going to pee on the floor behind the sofa...LOL... He was having issues when he came here thanks to the first people who bought him from his breeder, he WAS housebroken when they got him... Any how he is totally beastly and.... sometimes we hold our ground... if he JUST peed...LOL...
