Money looks a lot like his 1/2 brother Swag on that tree.



Last night Swag caught a "hail marry" coon when he sailed out of the tree after they treed it. The coon didn't' put up a lot of fight but it sure got Swag fired up. It was the first coon we've given him that he actually ran and treed even though he's treed 3 completely by himself. They treed 3 coons in the middle of a thunderstorm and swag struck about a minute ahead of the other dogs and got the track headed the right way for them. Once I get him settled down a little, he's going to be tough! He is 10 months old and drowns out the other dogs on the tree. It's getting to the point where the guys that go with me laugh that he's so loud.

Clyde and I will be at SE B&T days on Saturday afternoon. I look forward to seeing ya'll there!

Thanks Tim! It was good to see you this weekend and several of the next generation of Bean hounds! He definitely leaves his mark on his pups!

I hope ya'll had a good cast Saturday night. I know you were in some tough company! We couldn't get much done on our end but that's the way it goes sometimes. Seemed like the coons weren't stirring too much early.

I'm looking forward to getting together to do a little hunting before too long. Let me know if those "northerners" would like to tag along too.

Ya we had a cast of independent coon dogs an when the coons aint walking they go deep, 1st drop 3 way split Black dog has a coon, Candy Circled, Nut dog minus, History is M,I,A we recast all 3 strike an tree its Circled we call time out drive around to get History, Drop agen History an black dog has a coon Candy is split an agen cant find her coon (circle) 3rd drop Candy an black dog workes a bad track Black dog takes minus on strike History is in deep gets struck gary trees him but hes in a hole (circle) Hunts over Candy is treed deep with 2 coon, History wins 200 plus no minus an I was wore out....
