SECOND PHONE CALL TONIGHT !

I got a phone call from Craig & Brad Woodmansee tonight the guys were haveing a BALL !!!!!!

Radier & Duke were treeing there Hearts out with the coon on the outside they were doing a outstanding JOB.

You guys have 2 nice young hounds keep up the GREAT WORK !!!!

Thanx Eddie. They did pretty good last night. Coons weren't moving very good. We dropped Duke and Raider in on a swamp and they went for a long hunt, and found one up a tree layin in the first crotch, and treed for all they were worth. Can't wait til they are old enough to put em in some hunts. talk to ya later....craig

Good to hear ol Sherman is coming along for you I told you he could BLISTER a TRACK.

About the time Fay goes out it will be a good time at her age to start pushing her,Bill Toops called the other night & let me listen to his litter mate to Fay do some treeing she sure sounded good.

Bill was telling me that there was 4 over there that should have titles on them off of Light'in & Ellie May.

Its good to here the good reports on these young dogs.

We had a good night. Duke put one up the wood on his own and treed like it was his job. He's gettin a lil better every time i take him out. Can't wait til it gets dark tomorrow night......craig

Craig, thats good to hear keep him in the timber & he will make you proud they are born, bred Coondogs theres alot of good dogs in there Pedigree alot of good men put alot of time into the way these dogs are bred.

Glad u called AGAIN when Duke was Milking that WOOD with the MEAT, SPILT ON TOP OF THAT !

He sure was sounding GOOD my friend keep doing what your doing because its WORKING !

((Brad)) it was good to hear Radier Milking that WOOD LASTNIGHT ALL ALONE with his coon same to you keep up the good work its WORKING for BOTH U GUYS !

((Todd)) sounds like Ya'll were having a GREAT HUNT ALSO I could barely hear TANK but I treed him over the phone.Its a big change for him coming to your country but all in all I think hes doing well,for the big change bet hes still a little home sick he always set out waiting & watching for me to come outside he will form the same bond with u in time.

Im happy to say about every tree u have walk to u have found his coon.

Preston,they are sure having fun with these young dogs way out East & Im happy for them just wish I was able to be there with them.

Hows things down South in Ark ? man its 91 here today & MUGGY storms are moving back in tonight.

I need to give you a call here in a few days we have had alot going on around here & I just dont seem to find the time to make the call.My wife is a care taker & one of the folks she took care of passed away so we been dealing with that he didnt have any family left he was 90 yrs. young.

How you doing ? hope all is well way up North.You still running them Bear I didnt know when your season went out for sure.

I lost your phone # I need to get it from you again are you still thinking of coming to Am.Days ? hope to meet you soon, or I was thinking you had said something about coming down for it hope to see you there.

If its not to much trouble a full mount would be great but thats up to you just make it easy on yourself & I'll just be happy to have it done ((A BIG THANKS YOU FOR DOING IT)) !!!!!!! what ever you do I'll be happy.

our training season

for bear is July and August. Our kill season is Sep. & Oct. And if you have a kill tag you get to run thru most of October. Once you use your kill tag you are done. They are trying to change it so you can run dogs if you dont have a kill tag. It's probably in the 60s today. Mostly been upper 40s and lower 50s. Alot of rain. Its warm enough for me. Nites are 30s, perfect weather. I sure am going to try and make it to Red days and will unless something would happen. With all the body parts I've had replaced and need fixed a person never knows. Although whats wrong physically with me is no comparison to whats wrong with you. I sure hope they find something to fix you up. I'm going to do a m
ount for Steve also, I forgot to ask him what kind he would like.I'm going to PM you my phone number. I just have a cell phone now. Take care my friend.

Things are ok down here, IT'S HOT AND HUMID! We are gonna try and make it to American days. Alot depends on work the next week or so. I sure hope I can get a pup off Lightin and Queen, If you here of one that would start this fall let me know. Ive been busy lately and havent had time to read the threads on here, I need to catch up! Yall take care, we should start seeing some pups in a few weeks!

Hers a pic

of the next mount I have to do for my brother. I have to get a Grizzy form in order for it to fit. It's going to be a full mount. Maybe we can get you one this big. LOL It was 600# dressed out and wouldnt climb. My brother shot it at 8-10 feet with a old Savage 30/30 pump. One shot to the head and it was history. Take care. I have a record bear hear that is done and will send a pic later today.

We got a call from Bill, he said that there were 4 pups out of LIGHTIN and GRNITECH JONES CEDAR CREEK ELLIE MAY that should title out. This here is another great cross to watch out for.

Preston, it sure got hot & muggy here lastweek but has cool down some now I went & bought me a new A.C. I cannot take that heat anymore like I did at one time,I spent 10 yrs. in the Heat Treat at Borg Warner making the T4-T5 Transmissions man I seen a many hot afternoon in there when I was young.

Good to hear there are some pups on the way hope you have a extra one off one of them nice gips.

I have you down for a gip off the next cross off Queen or a male just what ever you want.Look forward to you getting some pups on the ground.

davecat, thats the biggest Black Bear I ever seen I think man that dude could sure work a pack of dogs over & I can see why he would not climb they get that big they can just walk along in front of a pack of hounds knocking them every which way.

Would like to see that record Bear that you have, would love to kill a bear of this size someday.
