Hello every body !! I'm still alive !!! Can't keep a ga southern peach down for long !!!

Well here I go .... Barely made it thur the ice storm !! No power for days .. Jonathan had no water for a couple of days ... No cell phone service either .. I learned the best way to endure it is to get out in it .. It was the worst ice storm ga ever had !!! I couldn't get out of my own neighborhood !! Trees breaking every where !! You couldn't even hardly walk in Jonathan's yard !! No gas... , ATM , stores closed .. Nothing .. I couldn't even make it out of our neighborhood to get to my grand mothers viewing .. But did make it to the funeral ..

My grand momma passed away 2 Fridays ago... I was going back and forth to visit her about every other day .. This has been going on since end of jan.. We got the last call .... And everyone was there .. Dad and I watched her take her last breath ....that was very hard for my dad !!! Never seen him like this before ....
That next wed.. 5 days after that my dad had a stent put in .. They kept him over night bc he has other health issues that the doctors always watch any time he's sick ... Well ..... I get him home on thurs.... Only to get a phone call that his sister passed away in her sleep that morning .. he drives down to talk with my uncle to try to bring some encouragement ... He's unable to stay long ... He doesn't feel well ... So I get off work and go !! I stay till 12 that night and drive back that next day to help my uncle with all the funeral arrangements .. Bc everyone is just beside there self ... And can't think straight ....got home late that night only to return the next day for the viewing and help my family prepare for the Sunday funeral service at their home !! My dads family doesn't have much money and very country people which I love ..( they love to coon hunt too.. So they all love Shan !!) ... After the funeral on Sunday .. About 60 family members come to dads for dinner and fellowship ., I truly enjoyed every one of them .. !! My dad broke down .. He had to "go to his room " for about 25 mins that night ... Watching dad these last 3 weeks has totally broken my heart .. My heart hurts for him ... He has lost his mother and sister in just 6 days !!! It's very sad and it deeply hurts ..
Every one left dads this passed Monday night .. He couldn't make it to work tues or today .. He said he just needed to rest .. Dad usually doesn't deal with stress by resting !!! He works ... This was a change .. So still keep him in your prayers ...

I want to say thank you for the pm and all the post of concerns and prayers for me and my family ... John thanks for posting on my behalf .. I'm grateful !! I love you all and I can't tell you how much You mean to me !!!

Ps... Went to the dr yesterday ... For my monthly blood work ... And I asked the dr. Why were my cheeks getting hot every other day ... She turned around in her chair and smiled and said ..... Honey ... You're going thru MEN-a-PAUSE ... I said .... Hmmmm that's why I'm not putting up with no more &(;,$;:&??$' !!! Lol lol lol

I better go .. Corky .. You know you're very special to me !! Love you and the boss !!!

Pss... We had a earthquake that shook my whole house last week and a tornado Friday !! All in the same week !! It's cold today but Sunday - tues were 70/80 degrees !!! Loved it !!

These ladies use to be some fine coon hunters .. Their dad is the man I always talk about that handed down the passion of coon hunting to me !! These are just 2 out of 13 children my uncle E had !! Sweetest people in the world !! I haven't seen these two in a long long time !!! Paul (First Lady on the left ,, next to dad .. Is a Bluetick lover .. Along with her sister fay ! )

Morning all,

Shannon,
My family is praying for each every one of your family memebers. You have had a rough start of the year and I know it will get better. You just keep them babies close to you and hug them up tight.

I seen John's pictures, that one made me really want a shot of JD.

Made a drop last night. First tree couldn't find anything, cut them again one dog went straight the other to the right. The one to the right got close to the road so we sent after her. She ended up crossing the road but only went 130 yards. caught her up. Then after Buster, he had worked his way back to where we dropped. HE was treeing pretty good. We drove to where we dropped and then had to go to the other side of the property. As I was driving off he shut up. So we stop again and here he comes. I have never had him come off the tree and have driven within 20 yards of him before. So I take him a walk through the woods to where he was treed. He was very shy about coming with me. I get up there and a nsty ole grinner looking down. Well needless to say he found out they do not taste very good and have an electrical current running through them.
Any how try again tonight.

Looking forward to seeing whoever is at Goshen on Saturday.

Good morning gang...I'm back.

Supposed to get in the lower 30's today. I am going to cut some firewood today.

I had -15 yesterday morning. Man, it doesn't seem like this winter will ever end. I haven't been able to get the coondogs off the box in 6 weeks.

Supposed to be a big storm coming. I hope everyone stays safe.

How about ole Jr??? Sue and I had a great time at Daytona. I will post some pics later.

We had a great time at the goshen show. It was nice seeing everybody and a lot of very nice lookin black dogs. My wife is pretty much sold on them. Hope to see a bunch of y'all next weekend at the pound hunt in millboro!

I was to sorry to even hunt last night it should have been a great night I brunt some brush yesterday and it got my asthma going after using up my inhaler I decided I better stay home all good now I have been to the drugstore today and got me a new one ready for the ice and than the snow
