my 6 month old clean pup tracked and treed his first coon tonite by himself off my feeder bucket,all those coons ive turnrd loose in front of him in the las two months is finally workin.he treed a little the first drop with my bean dog nitch stalker.2nd drop by hiself,man im pumped!!

It's been a good weekend for us.

Friday night Nite Ch 'PR' Pigg River Cyanide Clyde earned another win towards grand with 400+ in Floyd, VA. He's 2 years old and needs 3 more to be finished




Even though this isn't a bean dog, I still wanted to share it with some of you all who have kept up with this cross---

I have a pup off of Poison Smoke x Harry's Stylish Candy that Tim owns. Sunday night we hunted for a little while around home and turned my puppy loose by himself. On the first drop, my Clyde treed a coon in a pine and my puppy treed a possum by himself. On the second drop I just turned my pup loose by himself and he ran and treed his first wild coon all by himself like an old dog! Yesterday he turned 10 months old and has only been hunted maybe 15 times total. We will start pushing him pretty hard since our season comes in on October 15th. Watch out for 'PR' Candy's Stylish Swag. I think he's going to make a nice one. One thing's for sure- we aren't going to have any trouble hearing him. He's about 70 lbs and the loudest pup I've ever hunted with! Of all the times I forgot my camera!

Bean's Bawling Barbie treed her first coon tonight at 7 months old. I have only had this female since last wednesday and she has tons of go and brains to back it. Man what a mouth on a female. thanks again tim for making the 9 hr drive to deliver such a nice pup. looking forward to getting the fur in her mouth this season.

Round 2 with barbie last night went good. turned her out alone and she milled around and played for 20 minutes or so then she vanished into the dark. I had put a feeder out last week and had not checked it to see if the coon had been eating but Barbie opened up and started treeing with a dieing screaming bawl. walked in around 80 yrds and she was trying to tree but could not make up her mind on which tree she wanted. as we looked 3 trees had coon sitting up. not bad for the 2nd real time out at 7 months old. i sure needed something to get me excited again.
