I didn't get to see truck race, took my 4 year old grandson coon hunting tonight and he loved it. Rain moving in tomorrow so we will get to see that race and for sure the 500 on Sunday.

That was a hard lick for Kyle Busch. Fractured leg. Will not race in the 500. Matt Crafton to drive the 18 car in the 500.

The BIG DAY is here!! Been a crazy week leading up to the start of the NASCAR SEASON. All the wrecks in the races and in qualifying, Kurt Bush getting suspended and now Kyle Bush and his leg. I agree with Jimmie Johnson and what others have said over the past few years. There should be safer barriers EVERYWHERE that a car could hit, NOT just the more likely spots. Guess someone will have to get killed before they do it.
Everyone has picked some good drivers and it will be fun to watch it play out. Truex Jr. is fast and if one of the big teams don't win it would be nice to see him get it for Furniture Row.

I proud for him, but he was way down on my list (well, maybe last on my list) wanting to win. He is a very talented kid though. He kinda reminds me of a Kyle Busch???? But overall, it was a great race!!! Excited the whole time!!! Once you got out front, it seemed like you could hold the lead better than you could in the past, where you were more like a sitting duck?
