Those pups are looking good! Pinner is sure enough reproducing and passing on coon dogs. We will have to get together sometime for a hunt.

CASH is a 7 month old pup out of the Pinner x Wilma cross. Blake Hopson has got him doing it all by himself. Says he's got a big mouth on him, hunts hard and the best acting pup he's seen in a long time.

Daryl half breed Bo is in the woods as I write this and bobby called me and he was running the fire out of something !!! And sounded pretty dang good for 5 months old and bobby said he went huntin rite off the lead first time he has been hauled to the woods at night !!!! Bo might be the first but I can assure you he won't be the last pinner blood in md!!!!

That's awesome guys!! Been hearing lots of good reports on these Pinner pups. Went hunting with Justin Pillard the other night up in the hills and Pinner, Buster and Pinhead (Pinner x Daisy) and they piled them up.

Daryl,

Thanks again for bringing Pinner and Buster up to hunt these hill coon! It was the most fun I had all year. They are both outstanding dogs that I wish I owned!!! My buddy is all about racking up the hides and all he was talking about yesterday was getting your dogs up here again when we can go all night. lol

Took Pinhead out alone last night and he got 1 treed in a quick hurry. Wishing I would have got a picture with him treeing with his old man. Next Time.

Daryl, it seems there is a very demand for the Pinner x Wilma cross to happen for the 2nd time. The male that myself and Kenneth Crompton owns (John The Revolator) is a freak of nature!!!! You can not believe how he can get from unsnapped to 500 yards deep 2 barks and slammed the tree in 4 minutes with the meat he always has the meat and 7 months old..

This is by far the best hound I've ever seen go at any age. John is a beast and a hard treeing hound. I told Jeff tonight he needs to breed to Pinner again because getting a pup like this isn't easy believe me I know I've went thru a lot. He was shown a coon only one time with one drag and that was it, it's been on from there. I've never seen such a young hound be able to blow a track away and tree like no other. It has came completely natural to him. I've heard of these type hounds before and now I have one. I was really getting frustrated with all the pups I was raising but wow I have a beast of a hound now. Thank you Jeff and Daryl

I've been getting quite a few calls and texts about Pinner pups starting early. Half Breed Bo, owned by Bobby in Maryland ran and treed his 3rd time in the woods at 5 months old. Justin Heinz has a littermate female to Bo that split treed with the meat at 5 months old also. Both of these pups are very hard hunting with no reverse.

Pinner is putting to nice of pups on the ground to not be up top!!!!! **** I wish that white little female would have came to md along with half breed Bo!!!! These pups out of pinner are anything but normal are common!!!! Bo just turned 5 months old and will flattered a coon and has a huge mouth doing it !!!!and prefers to be alone !!!!! Thanks Daryl for letting walk along the other night. Had a lot of fun. You and Al are great company.

Guys, I drew Buster in a hunt and really liked him. Called Daryl out of the blue and asked if I could walk along on a hide hunt. Daryl was very nice and very welcoming and happy to have me as a guest. Got to hunt with Buster for the second time and now I like him even more. One heck of a nice young dog. I wish I owned him.

Got to hunt with Pinner for the first time. I had hunted with his littermate sister (Darby) and a niece (Little Jessie). Those two females are two of nicest dogs I have ever hunted with in 20 years of hunting. They are drop yer jaw good. Hunted with Pinner it was more of the same. Get huntin', think for yourself, have a coon, no bs in between. Buster is out of a sister to Darby and Pinner who was also a coon treer. I'm no genius, but I think there is a trend here.

Guys, if you like dogs that get out and go huntin', think for themselves, have a good mouth, and have a coon, then you will like Pinner and Buster. They are for real and they come from a line of dogs that is for real.

Joe - Good to hear that Bobby is liking Bo. It's great to spread Pinner pups around.
Nate - It was great to have you down here. We'll have to do it again or I'll come up there.

Pinner just turned 8 years old on the 26th. He comes from a family of coondogs & reproducers and he is starting to prove himself as a reproducer as well. His pups are still real young but are starting to turn it on. I didn't stud out Pinner to make money, I did it because I believe he will help improve the Walker breed. If you like a dog that hunts hard, likes to be by themselves and will show you the coon on a very high percentage of their trees, you might want to breed to PINNER or get you a PINNER pup.

Boys pinner is what is known as a top reproducer !!! Not just a sperm donor like most males are !!!! He will put track power and noses on his pups that most hunters haven't seen in the hunts of today!!!!! For those of you that are looking to put some noses track power and monster mouths back into your kennels better Check pinner out!!!! I am one that strongly believes that the female is the most important ingredient when making a cross but it's good to know that there still are a few dominant males still out there !!!!! Pinner to the top!!

Thanks Joe. I hunted with two pinner females this past weekend. They are exactly as you said.

HARD GOING -> Man do they have a lot of desire to hunt, not just run. They leave you kicking dust in your face, or snow in this case.
TRACKING ABILITY -> Neither one babbled but both were the first to get struck and get the track moving.
MOUTH -> Very, Very nice mouths!! Not the yippy squeeky mouths you hear on some females.
NICE TREE DOGS -> Nice solid chop mouth females. Everyone likes a nice tree dog and these two young females sounded nice!!
INDEPENDENCE -> There was not an ounce of ME TOO in these girls. They did their own thing and didn't care what the other dogs were doing.

These traits were bred into them. Not something they were taught. One of these females just turned 6 months old and the other was 15 months old.
