I really hate people that steal dogs. Just my opinion, but they should be shot on the danged spot if found. I had a Woodpecker/Ace bred redbone stolen from my kennels on a Sunday morning. I was stationed in Korea and my parents were off at church.

I hope you find your pup, may God bring peace to your family.

Christy don't give up hope. I got my lost dog back today. Haven't heard or seen anything about him in a month. A guy at work said a hound showed up at his sons house about 2 weeks ago. He has had the dog chained to a tree and wasn't taking good care of him. So this co-worker asked he if I would take the dog before it got in bad health. So I said sure. When I picked the dog up. I couldn't beleive my eyes.. It was my dog. He was missing his tracking coller but still had his other coller. Don't give up hope.

WELL, THE LAST LEAD ON ACE ALSO FELL THROUGH. HOWEVER WE DID LEARN SOME WHAT COULD PROVE TO BE VALUABLE INFORMATION.

WILL KEEP KEEPING EVERYONE POSTED!




I DID HOWEVER, HELP TO REUNITE 2 LOST WALKERS FROM HERE IN SYLVA WITH THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS! TO MAKE ALONG STORY SHORT A GUY HERE IN SYLVA WAS HUNTING. LOST HIS 2 DOGS. BOTH HAD TRACKERS AND COLLARS ON. NUMBERS ON THE COLLARS HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED. A FELLER FROM SC WAS ON VACATION IN MAGGIE VALLEY AND HE PICKED THE DOGS UP ON THE 4LANE! HE TRIED TO CONTACT NUMBERS, BUT COULDNT GET ANYONE, SO HE DECIDED TO TAKE THE DOGS HOME AND SEE IF HE COULD SOMEHOW GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE WHO COULD HELP HIM GET THEM HOME. SO WHEN HE GOT HOME, HE TALKED TO A BUDDY OF HIS WHO TALKED TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO KNEW I WAS MISSING ACE AND KNEW HOW TO GET AHOLD OF ME. SO THEY CONTACTED ME, AND ASKED ME IF I KNEW THE GUY. I DIDNT, BUT I TOLD THEM TO GIVE ME A LITTLE TIME AND I'D FIND OUT AS MUCH AS I COULD. WELL, COME TO FIND OUT, THE BOY LIVES ON THE ROAD ABOUT A MILE FROM MY MOM N DADS, AND ONE OF HIS HUNTING BUDDIES WORKS WITH QUINCY! SO, I GAVE HIM THE GUYS NUMMBER IN SC AND Q'S WORK PARTNER IS GOING TO CONTACT THE GUYS IN SC AND ARRANGE TO PICK UP THE DOGS AND GET THEM HOME!!!

I JUST WISH IT HAD BEEN THAT EASY FOR ACE BOY! BUT I'M STILL HOPEFUL!

WE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE ANIMAL SHELTER HERE IN SYLVA, THEY CALLED. HAD A MALE THAT FIT ACE'S DESCRIPTION. WAS NOT HIM, SO I LEFT HIM A GOOD FLYER THAT SHOWS HIM FROM ALL SIDES SO THEY CAN HAVE REFERENCE PICS IF SOMETHING ELSE COMES IN.

LOL. WE HAVE FLYERS EVERYWHERE! LOL.

hey christy, i think of you guys every day and i am praying you find your boy. we had a similar thing happen to us back in 04'. dogs took a bear and crossed a main highway. we were there to get them across safely. after they went up and out of hearing we drove around. dogs had turned and gone straight back toward the highway. we cought one dog trotting down side of road. one dog was picked up and brought to another town, where a lady called us. and ojo's collar was beeping toward theses houses, real strong. we thought he was at a house.. the location was through the town and 3 miles south. after checking all the houses we walked the side of the road.. found his orange wildlife collar unbuckeled in the ditch. it was the most awful feeling in the world. to make a long story short, a lady picked him up, and brought him home. she called late that night with a lie of a story (we talked to another person later that summer that saw this lady at the store with him). she was an average lady that wanted him for a house dog. her husband told her they could not have him and had to call us. it may be someone like that that took ace. he was handsome and someone felt they could do better for him. anyway, i know exactly how you feel. he will turn up somewhere.

One of my Blueticks disappeared on a Nite Hunt in Oklahoma. Three days later, a little old lady called to say she had my dog. I went to the home where the little old man had my dog tied to their patio fence. He kept saying he sure liked the dog & wanted to keep him & that he'd been at their house for more than 2 days. But the lady said she didn't want to have to feed a dog (she had called me while her husband was outside). I thanked them & asked if I owed them anything & the lady said "two dollars for food."
Christy - I think about you every day & keep hoping your situation will have a happy ending.

My friend had a similar situation as skyblu.He lost his dog.A weekwent by with no calls.He place alost and found ad.Got a call same day.This guys daughter found the dog, took his collar off and told her dad it must be a stray and can we keep it.
I had a young dog picked up right in front of my house.I knew it was stolen because I tracked it in the snow right to where it was picked up .I placed an ad that it was urgently in need of medication.A couple days later a car stopped and down through the yard ran the pup.

Hey Christy I dont if this is ACE or not but this guy posted on coondawgs.com.......

Folks, I found a male walker hound tonight on the side of theAA highway. No collar on him.Bad as I'd like to keep him, I figured y'all might know who's missing one. He looks well taken care of and went strait in my dog box.
There was an akc hunt in crittenden ky. sat. night and I thought someone might have lost him then. Call 859-620-1146. I dont get on here anymore so call me if you or anyone you know is missing one.Thanks!
