From a "rescue" in Quebec:
He is tattoed in both ears (the tattoo seems to run in two parts): MCH in the right ear and 06 in the left. Looks like a hunt club tattoo. I am trying to figure out what it is.


He was found as a stray 4 months ago and was just skin and bones. He has several scars and healed bite wounds (and a probable old fracture). He is extremely shy, but very, very sweet. He will be neutered in 2 weeks and will go up for adoption now. The person who found him will keep him in foster care for us. He will need a very special and gentle person. He looks like he's endured a very rough life so far. We think he might have been a kennel dog.

I have requested a pic and/or description--not clear which breed. If anyone recognizes the tattoo, please pm me and I will put you in touch with the "rescue". Please hurry or this dog will be an "it" soon! Sounds like a lost big game hound to me...

FOUND!

She was last seen on the north side Of I-80 in Howe, IN where she ran across
farm fields between the highway and E750N RD. She headed west from the
travel plaza on I-80.
Penny weighs about 45 lbs and has a classic blanket back, brown head and
ears, white tail, white muzzle.
She's very shy having been rescued from a hoarding situation but she loves
to lean on people and is good with other dogs.

This hound was on its way to a new home after having been impounded in Kansas.

Hi, everyone. My 5 year old Boxer/mastiff/dane mix has been missing for 6 weeks from the Woodworth, Louisiana area. Meanwhile, I came across some type of hound that I am now feeding in Woodworth. It won't let me get near it, but now that it knows I have food, it waits for me to put the food out, get back in the car and then it will go eat. I can't even tell if it is male or female, but since we live right at the Kisatchie National Forest, I wonder if this dog is perhaps a lost dog from a hunt.

It is what I would call mostly white, white legs and mostly white face with (I think) a brown patch on one side. It also has dark (brown or black) patches on its haunches.


This photo is awful, but is a blow up cropped shot taken from my iphone from a large distance away.

(BTW, anyone want to guess the breed? I am unfamiliar with hounds).

My redbone male and female got out of the pen today when my wife tripped after feeding them. The female's name is Pepper and the males name is Tank. They are both fixed. Pepper is a 60 lb dog and Tank is about 85 with white on his chest. They do have my contact on their collars but I am deployed overseas. My wifes number is 3375155851 or you can call my friend scott at 3182865463. Any info, good or bad, would be appreciated. The main thing was the my wife didn't get hurt. Please hit me up on here or call her with any info.

I started a thread about this by mistake--meant to post here. I got a circulated message from a "rescue" that has this dog. It sounds as though they may have taken her from someone's yard because they didn't like her being on a "tether" (which is legal here).

bluetick male found near the Henry/Wood county line in OH. He had heartworm, but the rescue has cured that. He gets along with other dogs. He is still intact.

CHACE, HUNTING IN CAST LAST NIGHT LOST VC ZEUS!! THEY WERE HUNTING OUT OF SEMINOLE OK AND HAVE NOT HEARD OR SEEN HIM SINCE EARLY LAST NIGHT. IF I UNDERSTAND RIGHT THEY WERE GOING TO HIM TREED AFTER THE HUNT AND GOT WITHIN 400 YARDS OR SO OF HIM AND OTHER DOG THAT WAS TREED THERE QUIT TREEING. THE OTHER DOG CAME RUNNING TO THEM ACTING SCARED. THEY NEVER WERE ABLE TO PICK HIM UP AGAIN ON THEIR GARMIN. HE HAS A HANDLE ON HIM IF HE CAN HEAR YOU HE WILL COME.

Missing 2 yr. old Walker female!!
Missing Two and a half year old Walker Female. since August 21st 2011 She dug out of her pen.She was in the Gravios Mills, Missouri erea, but could be anywhere within ten miles of there by now.She is a medeium built dog, Has red head and black back with some red showing through,has red but,front legs are a bright white which runs from under her chin all the way down her belly,hind legs are white on front side and red on the back side,She has t-bone patch of white between her head and back on the top of her neck, Also has a white patch on the left side of her muzzle. She has two collars on her.If anyone finds her I will make it worth your time to tie her up and call me.Pictures will be up loaded soon!
