is there any difference on the color of ear tags you talking about? i use the orange ones. whats the difference?

been using the bayer tree & shrub for a couple years now. works great and no side effects what so ever. but like buckshot posted i use the tractor supply brand since bayer changed formula to add fertilizer

Barry, the orange tags are about half the cost and you get more in the pack than the purple tags.......The orange tags have a sweet odor where the purple tags are almost odorless. I use the purple because of the orange's sweet odor and don't want the hounds messing with them.

thanks....guess that explains why they like to try and get to them. i just cut slits in them and run collar through. older dogs pay them no nevermind. the young one like to try and pull'em off

if you look at the ingredients (prior to adding the fertilizer) its the SAME ingredient as Bayer Advantage Flea & Tick that you buy at the vet's office. so I guess the vet's are selling lawn & garden chemicals...better get PETA in here.

BOTH

i found it today at a garden supply in Pensacola.. they had both with and WITHOUT the feed part... I ask the salesman and he told me they have both because they still have people that want it without the fert... according to him they can still get either... at least he had both on his shelf... might want to ask or request your local feed or garden supply and they should be able to order it for you without the fert..

hope this helps

Went to Home Depot today, all they had was the type with fertilizer.... Didn't want a 200lb. walker gyp. LOL

I've been using Ivomec cattle & swine solution...
I've been using this for several years, 0.05 mls. per dog twice a month.
It works for me. Hardly have to spray pen.1 or 2 times a year..
Have about 10 or 12 horses so you know how flys are around here..

My 2 yr.old walker dog is SOOOOOOOOOO hyper though.
It's hard to get her still to put in her mouth..

ALSO while it's on my small one cell brain ...
Any ideas on mellowing her down...
I think she could pull me 1/2 way up Mt. Everst before she caught her first breath..

When you turn her loose she leaves sparks flying off gravel..

GOD Bless J.

My dog had a bad reaction a little over a year ago from the Bayer. I now use cattle tags or regular drops on the back. Got 2 much time and money tied up in the dogs to take chances. Good luck and think twice before doing anthing.
