Snow ended last night here. I"d say we got about 6 or so heavy inches. Got quite a build up and lots of icicles... Could be a lil bit more Tues but for now SNOW IS DONE! Now the COLD comes...lol... SPRING... Please come early!!! We are watching bad horrow movies, sipping on a drink each and enjoying the fire going... Nice! Bob has tomorrow off and he could use it...bigtime. Been doing SO MUCH... esp. for me. He is such a good dude...I do NOT deserve him!

Awesome win pix etc.... Congrats again to all.
Was very nice to have one more extra day with Bob! I watched about 12 hours of ice dancing...lol... he did chores, napped next to me and even WATCHED the last few pairs skate!
SO.... More snow tomorrow! LOL... we MIGHT get up to 6 more inches..... AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Spring where are you? Pretty soon when the basset hound next door goes out for a run... even with paths shoveled etc... I don't think we will even catch glimses of her... LOL...

Hi Everyone! Well... we got about 5-6 inches of snow and... it was white... and cold... LOL The warm up is going to make a big mess... it'll melt and freeze and then mud... I'm grumpy... But... it was pretty! lol....
I forget what grass looks like. And flowers. I DO know that Spring comes... every year! YAY!
Well... I think the ladies figure skating starts tomorrow and I'll be watching it live... for hours and hours... I'll be useless till it's over... I'm pathetic with skating... I love it.

Been working non stop since Thursday morning. I am ready to take off Friday morning and head to Walker days. Time to put the new girl on the bench in front of a crowd.

Peel your apples and dry the peelings in the sun or by the stove. Put them in a crock and add enough boiling water to cover them. Cover the crock and let them sit for one or two days, until all the flavor comes out of the peelings. You may add some sugar if you want

AHhhhhhhhhhhh! lol... Poor Bob will shovel a path or plow the drive and then... 18" of snow falls again...lol... We are sick of it... the only saviour is that we get $ when Bob plows. It is all icy now so... My outdoor time will be more limited.... Again...
SKATING... I had a BALL watching today from 10 am till 2:30 or so! Will do same thing tomorrow! I LOVE IT! Love skiing and other stuff too, obviously hockey...but the skating just takes me away.... I figure skated a short time as a kid... I am AWFUL but I did lots of plain skating... Every spare evening in Brookline I skated... When I took lessons they assumed I"d be good... right build, athletic, small... but I was terrified of spinning(still am) Jumping hurt... I hated it but LOVED to watch. Yrs later after runing track for a short time we found I had a birth defect in my knee.. that caused the pain! lol... SUrgery helped that... I assumed everyone hurt like that...
SO... yeah, I'll enjoy the skate tomorrow... AND stay inside!

Good evening everyone. We got hammered with a bunch of snow Monday night. The dang driveways were drifted shut. I had to get the tractor out and plow before anyone could leave.I was an hour and 15 minutes late for work.

Today it got up to 45, first day above freezing in 3 weeks. Supposed to be aroud 60 and rain tomorrow. There will be water everywhere.

Congratulations to BB and Pastor Mike.

Great pics everyone.

Wendell - apple beer sounds pretty good. Did you ever drink those buzzballs? Were they any good?

I talked to Shannon today on FB. She said her dad was getting a stent put in today. So I am sure all prayers will be appreciated. She also wanted me send her love to Corky.

DRESSING Scald the possum in boiling water containing half a cup of lime or ashes. Then scrape it until its hairless, gutted ( it should have been bleed immediately after caught ) the musk glands under the forearms removed, and either the head or at least the eyes removed. The carcass is then soaked, preferably overnight, before cooking

COOKING Parboil in it in water containing salt and red pepper or black pepper. Boil until tender, and than put it in a greased pan surrounded or filled with sweet potatoes. It is than baked until golden brown or you can parboil the meat in salty water until tender, cut the pieces up and roll them in red and black pepper and flour and fry them in fat

Hi gang. We got our rain today. It got close to 50. A lot of snow melted but we still have at least a foot.

Evening folks! Prayers to ALL and extras for Shannon and family. Hope your dad's surgery went VERY well!
Weather... was warm today... 45 or so. ICY in the shady areas....What a Mess we'll have. Polar Vortex...Grrrrr... lol It is raining out now...ice in some areas... I'll sled down to get mail tomorrow.
Thank Heavens skating is over! It was AWESOME but I have a splitting headache... NO MORE for 4 yrs! lol...
Possum... I'd try it if someone good cooked it! I'm bold like that... and LAZY! lol...
Look forwrd to going to Mums this weekend... Hope I can hold up and keep up with HER!
