...i think they bit better today even though I had less fish, got 25 today..had to quit at noon to hang a door at the father -in-laws cabin on the lake.got high hopes for tomorrow.got the pattern established on the fish ..cold front moving in ,so I should put a whoop'en on them tomorrow..heres 3 that went 14 inch +.....

I had an idea those pups would do real well. Coon dog to Coon dog is always a good idea. Glad they are doing real well. Remember I have a 1/2 brother to her (7) that would cross real nice on those nieces someday. I can't wait to see them grow up Scott. By then I will have kennel finished. If it works once do it again or maybe back to her daddy. If you want 1 or 2 real real good ones.

Kid left a while ago to go bow hunting before he goes to work he's seen several lately but just can't get them close enough. Maybe he will have better luck this morning with the wind being the way it is we'll see.

He had to be at work today at 5:00 going to southern Indiana. Yes he gets layed off in the winter he was hoping to be laid off by now but doesn't look like it unless it rains a lot then that may change. Mike did you know a guy by the name of Larry Closson he is a retired game warden? Maybe you need to get a hobby. I try different things in the winter time to keep myself occupied. I do quilting sometimes, acrylic painting, crocheting etc. I am just now getting started in doing chainsaw carving. My first project didn't turn out to bad as soon as I get some extra time am going to try another one. I've got plenty of wood and can run a chainsaw so why the heck not!!

Usually in the winter I am not bored. I hunt and keeps me occupied. It is the when season not in is the hardest for me. This year I am going to try to trap and coon hunt.
