Tim, I think some how we missed on Pearl. She should be getting bellied down by now. She should have been due Aug. 2 We will keep an eye on her for the next week or so. If we did miss on her we will start hunting her if this hot weather breaks.

TIM havnt had that good of a hunt in a long time had some good dog work out of ranger and pauls #4 female they can really get one out of the cornfields and make it find a tree in a hurry havnt seen that many coon in years glad im getting some of that blood down in this country

Glad that you guys had a good hunt. You are welcome up here any time . I was really impressed with your young dog Turkey (TURK x Abby) only the third night in the woods and he went all the way on all tracks and was at the tree treeing. He really did a good job of keeping up with the older dogs in the cornfield race and tree in the farmers front yard at 3:00AM. That pup really has a good mouth that you should be able to hear for miles.

Got Jill bred this AM while it was cool. This should be a real cross with a lot of good old blood up close. I will post Jill's ped later..........Tim

I hunted with her and she is cold nosed and will get treed and will hold a ton of pressure. She is independant but yet will hunt and tree with the other dogs also. Plus she is a good, good looking female, dark blue and has dark tan trim. Good mouth and is looking for a coon and wanting to get treed.
This ought to be a super nice cross.

Larry Carlin has the pup, he calls him Turkey. I hunted with him last Thursday (his third time in the woods), he went all the way with the older dogs opening just right on track and getting on the wood, Larry really likes him. The pup has a real good bawl mouth on track and bawls and chops on tree. He is a good looking chuckle headed leggy pup that is built for speed. Corn and beans are starting to die around here. Most are talking of bailing up the the crops.
Old dogs still gettin the job done but the pups are having a hard time tracking.

Just got in from the hunt at Sweet Springs, had a good hunt even tho I drew Big Brother, Paul won our cast with his GO GET HER fermale. He was sitting in 2nd place when I left with 1 more cast out. This was her first hunt and she looked good. I hunted Doug Linn's Froggie female and lost the cast by 50 points...........Tim
