Tim, I've been kicking around goin to Clinton one night maybe get dad to go the opposite night. Its one of the closer hunts for us. Danny wants to go and hunt Penny, if Physco looks good this week maybe hunting him one night.

PS. Takin Smoke to the vet after lunch his front right foot is swelled twice normal size. Can't find any thorns or anything. its just swollen. I don't know if its a snake bite or what.

Smoke,
Nice pic the other night bronco looked good I could almost hear him in the picture!!

Treed 3 last night getting ready for the hunt in Wisconsin leaving friday around noon. Ran one track/tree and just treed the next two.

Easy and peanut split two nights ago and man was it hot and muggy not like last night. Easy had a coon deep and pea had a den. Ty was happy none the less she stayed.

Glad to see Zone I hunt turned out good and good dogs won it. Congrats to all the winners!

Won the NT Ch Hunt at Clinton MO tonight with Nt Ch Mad Dog Tree Rockin Robin(21 months old). She had a good part of 2 coon and got 1 by herself. The coon she had by herself she got in a good 1/2 mile with no company. I was pleased with her performance.

Bombed out!!! We only treed two coon, on the first one Robin took 125 minus when the coon either jumped out or she pulled him out of a 8 foot hollow snag. She was only 50 yrds in front of us and had to stand there and watch as they ran by us. Bad break but we had a hot track for a little while!!!!

Took 2 young dogs out of Turk last night for a little hunt, 1st dump turned out a coming two yr. old dog owned by John Yoder by himself didn't get struck or treed. 2nd dump were leading my boys' Walker female and the John Yoder male dog and I just let my little female from Turk and Duane Woods female out of Mailles Freckles female as we walked up the road. She went about a 100 yards up the road and struck in a corn field and started moving on the track real nice and we turned the other dogs into her. They had a real good race went about 200 more yards and all dogs treed solid. Both Turk dogs did an excellent job of running and treeing. I really like the little female I think she is going to be special. I liked what I saw out of the John Yoder male there just need to see him do something on his own. He is going to get oppurtunity again tonight. I ain't workin' tomorrow and we might just hunt all night! KEEP RAISING THEM GOOD BLUEDOGS MADDOG TEAM! GORDIE HALE

Thanks Gordie for the update on the young dogs sired by Turk. I have had good reports from both of those litters. Sounds like you have your little female well on her way. It takes time in the woods and some sleepless nights to finally get the type of hound that a man wants. Keep up the good work and keep me posted...............Tim

How are they doing? We are getting our whelping house ready for Pearl. She will be spoiled by the time you get her back. Timmy and I are putting air conditioning in the whelp house. That way I will be comfortable for the times I'm in the dog house!!!!
Larry is comming tonight to hunt with Smoke. I think we will stay on the big water. Good thing Doug aint goin!!!!!!!haha

Took Ranger to the Vet today, he has a badly infected tonsil and jaw muscle. He can't open his mouth to eat or bark, got him on some high power antibiotics that should help. He is going to be out of commission for a while..........Tim

Got a phone call from Tom Hueston about his two pups, one by Turk and Lucy and the other By Zip and Penny. One is about 6 mos old and the other is 5 mos old, Tom says that they are running and treeing turned loose coon on a regular basis and doing it in style. Talked to Troy Young this morning and he was telling me how his 9 month female from Turk and CH NT CH Queen is doing. He has turned several coon loose for her and she has treed most of them, and she stayed hooked one night when an older dog went on( she had a litter of kittens). Troy thinks she will make a top hound with a real good mouth. He also said that she should make GR Show also.............Tim

Had a good hunt with Doug Linn and Big Brother, made two trees and seen 8 coon. The litters are really starting to move. Paul had his Go Get Her female, Doug had Froggy and I had GR CH Lady (has UKC 1st). these little ladies will get gone and get treed and it doesn't take them all night to do it..........Tim
