Weaned the pups off ole cocoa Saturday. Took her last night and she made 3 trees with 2 singles and a den. It's nice to be able to break her out after a 2 month lay off and she not miss a beat.

I had a scare last night with ole Cocoa; she got a pretty nasty cut on her lower stomach. Took her to the vet this morning and she's getting stitches. Vet said she needs a few days off and will be ready to go for E D.

Got to handle my buddy Kenny Meyer's English female last night. She won her cast with 275+ and that was good enough for a first place. She's a nice little female. Solid dog that don't make many mistakes. He's got graduation and birthday parties all weekend so I get to handle her again tonight. She just needs a Cw to be nt ch. She's off 2 pr dogs that go back to some of Gayles stock.

Alex and I got to spend some of the evening yesterday at the Van Wert cty Coonhunters in convoy OH. They had a heck of a turn out with 16 show dogs and 45 for the hunt. Great turn out for an rqe! It was a pleasure seeing everyone up there.

This is hard hittin woodland zena; we have added her to the quality line-up of females we have here at Hard Hittin English Kennels. She is 21 months old and will be put in the hunts really soon. We're excited about her.

Cocoa treed tonight with the meat. Alex is getting her ready for Friday night of AO. 8 years old and still hunts like a 4 year old. She sure is a lot of fun to hunt.
