I took Sambo and Lace to a show last night and Sambo won best male of show and Lace won best female of show. This was three best of shows for Sambo so it finished him to Champion.
Take care and we will hunt some this week. Gotta go to Fla. this next Sat.

Good to hear you finished him to ch. Glad you one best of show with Lace .Doesn't that finish her. I will get with you this week.we need to get Sambo and my pup some coon in there mouths. I'm taking magic opening night for awhile so he can tree the first coon of season for me.He will be eleven on the 12th.he is starting to loose his hearing,but he will try his best. Hi Bill. Just giving u an update. Another pkc win for duke tonite. He was treed 900 yards from truck under the only coon we saw all night.

We have another week of deer gun season hear. After that we'll b back to the woods for some hard hide huntin and some fur in the mouth.

Yes, it finished both into champion. Lace got best of show but just needed 5 pts to finish and Sambo finished.

Tomorrow is the ole mans birthday. They get old quick. I remember the last time we hunted Magic, Sam and Rose together and he put it on Sam and Rose. We need to get them out and get a pic of the three dual grands together on a tree.

Luke, glad to hear this again and thanks for keeping us updated on Duke. By the end of this season he should be ready for the big ones and sure wish you luck with him. They are not afraid of the dark, that is for sure. By the way, Rose had 6 puppies. 5 girls and 1 boy.

Thanks to all which has called about breeding to Sam but because of Sam having some health problems, we will not be breeding him until his test has been finalized which will be in Feb. or March. At that time, we will update you on this matter.

Hi Bill. Hope all is well with you and yours. Winter seems to have set in up here. With the bad weather the huntin has been tuff. Ive had to put a new pair of boots on my christmas list. With coon movement being slow this dog has got my boots about wore out. (And they arnt that old!) I keep turnin loose in places ive always hunted and he manages to show me realestate ive never seen. Heres a video of duke under a big runnin boar the other night. Hope ya have a good holiday season.

Thanks for the video, enjoyed it and a very merry Christmas to you guys up north.
This weather here has not been cooperating either, looking for some more ice and snow tonight, but is in no way as bad as you guys have.
Tell Santa you will need new boots, maybe snow shoes for it sounds like Duke will get you into new territory if needed. For young hounds getting deep and coon not moving this time of year and keeping straight is a blessing also.
I hope that Duke makes a mark in the competition this year for you guys. He done well last year for his age. Sounds like he has one thing on his mind and sounds good on the wood. Happy too for look at the movement of that tail.

Winter puppies
Rosie had 6 puppies from Sam. She was A. I.'d. She had 1 male and 5 females. Raising all of them outside. Thought I would put pictures of 3 of them on here. For 5 1/2 weeks of age they are doing great considering what the weather has been. I am proud of them and just thought I would show some of them off.
