I may try me some coon meat I like all the other wild game iv killed im still sketchy on the coon meat though usually when a dog wont eat it then its not to good walker dogs here wont touch it but the black dogs will lol

my dogs love coon meat once i bake it for them and they love the foot of a coon for some reason lol, i aint got a clue why lol. i went tonight and treed 4 times and saw two coons but i left them to run again.the 2 trees that i didnt see anything was really woolie,i cant say if anything was there are not cause i didnt see nothing,but that ole dog was hammering down lol.my cur treed a little on the two trees with the coon in it,the other 2 he didnt tree none on,but by crackie he hunted for nearly 6 hours tonight and never got his 2nd wind yet lol. oh yeal i got soaked again but this time i was only a mile from the truck and to make things even more wonderful my light went kadead,so i walked a mile in the dark and in the freaking rain.its good to be me.lol

winds up this way was so bad last night we didnt fool with going they said the rain would be here around midnight well it hasnt rained yet it all died out its possible I may run them tonight just depends

i went tonight and my ole dog treed slick as a onion up a persimmon tree,aint no excuse for that.she ran something in the ground and gave out a hole bark and came back to me.my cur caught the biggest polecat i ever saw,by the time i got to him he done gutted that thing lol. my hole place smells like polecat now,i put their tracking collars on the back porch and it stunk the place up,iam glad i have a understanding wife.lol

BO AND GYPSY SPLIT 500 YARDS APART GYPSY WAS ON DEN AND BO HAD A COON. CUT BACK LOOSE AND SPLIT AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME THEY WERE ALMOST 900 YARDS APART, BOTH WENT A DIFFERENT DIRECTION. GYPSY HAD A BIG BOAR COON AND BO HAD ANOTHER COON. WAS ABLE TO GIVE BOTH HOUNDS A COON AND GET A GOOD PICTURE OF THE 3RD.

got in the woods around 11 last night dogs started working up a track about 20 min later streak opened up 50yds in front of us then he got to 120 and locked down daisy and little girl also locked down on the tree on top of a ridge I couldnt get back far enough to see up it streak didnt give up I pulled daisy and little girl off and got him off the tree he got out to 300yds from that tree and was in a big den tree garmin showed him treed for about 40min I never heard him though so finally I walked straight to him he had his head up in the hole of the tree I petted him up real good and came home maybe better luck next time

went out tonight took streak and daisy did not hunt long we got back in the woods about 300yds from the truck when my gf said their is something moving over to the right behind us i thought maybe it was the dogs so looked at the gamin and ruled that out then started hearing a weird growl kinda like a grunt and could hear it moving towards us so I kicked my light on high and never seen anything after the second time of hearing it I said lets call the dogs in loaded the gun and started calling the dogs in with it still grunting at us but no matter what I done I could not see it dogs came in so we left on the way out I shined my light and picked up some eyes that were green and only looked at the light for a split second the eyes on this animal were a few inches a part I really wish I could have got closer to see what the heck it was..... I think it may have been a bear but IDK
