It sounds like you are paying your dues. Unfortunately ,this happens to alot of new competition hunters .This type of sportsmanship turns alot of would be participants away in the very beginning .It's like anything else ,you have to know the rules.It's like the mechanic who can get most horsepower out of his motor and seems to win alot,while the rest of the class are running the exact same motor. You may have lost your cast but that doesn't mean your dog lost.Patience and persistence will pay off .I know you have got a real nice dog and it will all come together for you before you know it .Keep learnin the rules ,play it straight ,and you'll make friends, earn respect and you'll have "Ol Buster" finished in no time.Good Luck and "Keep Lookin up".your friend .......Dave

Took ol Buster to Maltia, Ohio Friday night to a hunt . Drawed out on a 4 dog cast hunted for the full two hours and couldn't buy a coon. Buster ended up with no minus points over the other three dogs that had minus. Saturday night ol Buster got a third place win in Kimbolton, Ohio. I got the pleasure to draw out with a dog named Molly. She is the off spring of Northern Solid Tide dog(Luke Solmes and Fred Holub owners) Molly is a nice little hound that placed 6 sixth in the BBCHA Ashland Hunt this past March. It was nice to see the little Molly dog and Buster go because I have had the pleasure to hunt a dog named Hanna for Fred and Luke that is Mollys direct sister in my Kennel for the past 2 months. All I gotta say is go Blue see ya all in HOLMESVILLE.

Its always good to see you and stan at the hunts your right about these hounds they come and go.way to fast for some and not fast enough for others.
Always good talking to you and you always have a good hound on the end of your lead.Penny and I enjoy seeing you at the few hunts we make it too.I checked today and i`ve burnt up way to much vacation time this year and i`ve put in alot of extra hours at work and its really getting into my hunt time,no end in site for a while.
Enoy being retired your still in good shape hop to get to hunt with ya sometime.take care and happy hunting.
