I'm very disappointed to say that Dozer will not be able to be hunted at the benefit hunt due to an infection. I had him to the vet yesterday and have him on some meds now. The vet instructed me to rest him so that his condition doesn't worsen. There is still a stud fee for Dozer being offered to the highest bidder to help raise money for this young man who is battling cancer. My father lost his fight to cancer on Jan 24th of this yr, so as you can imagine this hits close to home for me.

I just got word that the benefit for Jared Helsel went very well. Tracy Stewart won the stud service for Dozer. Looks like there's gonna be another litter of Dozer X Bell pups in the future.

It's nice to see the coon hunting community come together to help out.

I took Hoe for a walk the other night, it was her first time in the woods by her self and she did it, she stumbled across a tree that had a coon in it. Lol. This female has a horn on her! She treed her little heart out. Last night Hoe ran and treed with the other dogs. I got a call from Tyler the other night, he owns Dozer Jr. He also treed his own coon that night. I'm very pleased with what I'm seeing and hearing from Dozer's pups.


The clock is ticking!!! More Dozer pups are gonna be hitting the ground, it's time to make a choice!!! You can either hunt a Dozer pup or have to hunt against one. Chose wisely.

Dozer's infection is gone, he seems to be good and healthy again. I've had him to the woods, and let me tell you, man did I miss hunting him.

On April 6th the Geauga County Coon Hunters, in Middlefield OH will be hosting the Ohio State Youth Championship. My 9yr old daughter Hunter will be handling Dozer in that hunt. It will be Hunters 3rd time handling Dozer. She's 1-1 as of now.

I have had some calls from guys about breeding females. If all goes well, when they come in they will be brought over for a date with the big guy.
One is Lone Pine Breed, another is directly off of Stylish Hayes, and there are a couple others.

Dozers oldest pups are coming on real nice. He is putting BIG, LOUD mouths on his pups. Dozer has 33 pups on the ground, ranging from 3-10 months old. So far so good, buy the end of this yr we will see exactly what he's putting on the ground.

I HAVE FULL CONFIDENCE IN HIS REPRODUCING ABILITIES!!!! Dozer comes from a family of reproducers.

I have been hunting Dozer quite a bit lately and he has been looking really good. This Saturday, Hunter, my 9 yr old daughter will be handling Dozer in the Ohio State Youth Championship. I can't wait to see how it goes, win or loose were there to have a good time.

This Sat. (4/6/13) the Geauga County Coon Hunters Assoc. will be hosting the Ohio State Youth Championship. If you have a kid come on out and have some fun.

Hunter was starting to burn up with a fever before the hunt. After taking some medicine to break the fever she decided that she wanted to go to the woods and hunt. Hunter you are one tough little girl and I'm proud of you. CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!

Thanks Laura, I'm so proud of her. The way she looked and felt before the hunt I thought for sure she was gonna have to withdraw before even going to the woods. She hung in there and did a good job calling Dozer. It's not like she's an adult or a older kid she's only 9 yrs old. She can handle for me anytime. Lol. Let me know when you want to get out and see Dozer go. Thanks again for judging the Bench show and a cast during the hunt.

This is gonna be a busy week for the big boy. I have a female at my house right now to breed to Dozer. This is gonna be a thight line breed cross. Daisy is one of my all time favorite females that I've hunted with. She's accurate and loud. Daisy is off of Fred and Tace. Tace is a sister to Dozers mom. Some pups are already spoken fore out of this litter. Contact info will be posted once these pups hit the ground.

On Friday a guy is coming up from southern WV. Dozer and Hoe are being shown in the woods. Hoe may be sold.

On Saturday guys are coming in from Maryland to breed GrNiteCh Ch Oak Branch's Black Bird Star (Sacket Jr, Nailor bred).

There is another video on YouTube with Dozer and Jig Saw. Jigs is a young male that was treeing with and on Dozer. Take notice that the whole time jigs is jumping on Dozer he never even looks at the pup. Dozer is straight up treeing.

Talking to you at the youth hunt! Guy he is a straight as a arrow when talking about Dozer never hunted with him but just listen to him talk and you will tell he is telling truth about his dog!he tells you the good and ugly about him he isn't afraid to say he makes mistakes! And that means a lot! Awesome looker to!

It was good talking to you Damon. Get a hold of me some time and come see him go.

Well.... Charlie came up from WV and I showed Dozer and hoe in the woods last night. Charlie did not buy Hoe, so she's off the market now. Hoe does not have a lot of hunting on her but that's about to change. She has got a big mouth, goes hunting every drop and trees with the other dogs. She treed but milled a bit at the trees last night. Hoe is just a yr old and has not seen a coon or had one knocked out to her since before thanksgiving. So I guess you could say it's time for a HOE DOWN, lol

Now on to Dozer.... Although he treed 2 coon last night I'm NOT pleased with his performance at all. We had a little bit of everything, coons, slicks, dens, and a hole. Last night was the worst he's ever looked when I've showed him.

Yep..... that's right you've heard it right here..... From Bengie. I know it's hard to believe..... A stud dog that treed slick. It's almost unheard of. Lol

I have nothing to hide with this dog and that's why I'm always willing to show him in the woods. He is a straight up Coon dog, but as you can see he has bad nights just like the rest of them.

regardless of how dozer looked i had a great time and would make the trip again Bengie is a nice guy that will tell how it is one of the coons dozer did tree he worked up a rough track and came treed right the youtube video does do him justice he is LOUD!!! like i told Bengie where iam from thats a pretty good night and like i said i had a good time and would make the trip over again

Charlie, glad to have you come up and hunt. Your more then welcome to come back any time.

After breeding JD's female Star today, Dozer looked ok tonight, he did have to drift a track out and put a coon on the end of it. Anyone who knows me knows I dont make excuses, but as JD and Mike pointed out he breed Daisy 2 times last week and Star today (natural breedings) his head might not be in the right place. I never gave it a thought. Anyways, he has shown coon to every person that has come to see him go. So I guess I'll keep him around a little longer. Lol

As for hoe, she took it to another level tonight. Running track and treed like a champ with dad (Dozer). Hoe even got 1st strike on Dozer on one of the drops. JD and Mike really liked the way she hunted and treed. She is progressing more every time out.

Bengie THANKS for the hospitality and for showing Dozer & Hoe. We had a great time at your place and liked your hunting grounds. The older I get the more I appreciate flat land!

Considering the breeding Dozer has done in the past week we think he hunted great. JD said his ears were still ringing this morning from Dozer treeing. I'm glad Star behaved and it wasn't a problem getting her bred. We're really pumped to get a litter off of her and Dozer.

Hoe looked really good for as young as she is. She is going to make a NICE one! Your daughter Hunter is a real sweetheart! I'll be her handler anytime LOL.

Mike, I'm glad you and JD made the trip. These should be some real nice pups. As I've said in the past, the videos don't do his mouth any justice. He's got a HORN on him, and so does Hoe.

Last night I turned Hoe and Ruby out together and they did a nice job and put one up. I took Dozer out and did one drop with him. Dozer hit a rough track in a bunch of water but worked it out and put it up.

After our hunt the other nigh Hunter told me she had a real good time hunting with you guys.

I was planing on going to Walker Days but due to some other commitments we're not going to be able to make the trip.

If anyone would like to see Dozer or Hoe in the woods let me know. I can't believe the progress Hoe has made in the last week. Hoe is gonna get solo time now. If she keeps progressing like she has, look out at the hunts later this year.

After serious consideration I'm going to move some dogs around. The reality of it is, there's only so many hours in a day. Dozer is still being hunted regularly, Ruby is being hunted so that I can have her ready for the hunts (Once Ruby is titled she will be breed to Dozer), and Hoe is really turning it on. 3 dog is more then enough to keep me busy. I want to be able to really focus on a few and bring the best out of them, instead of only give a little bit of time to a bunch of dogs.

So at this time Crusher is for sale. Crusher is off Dozer and a BoJangles female. DOB is 8/27/12 (8 months). Red headed blanket back and a big mouth. He is as green as the grass, never been messed with. He's ready to start how you want. ALL PAID UP (SS and PP) and has all his shots. First $500 takes him. Call me at 330-507-3226

If all goes well, CAT (littermate sister to crusher) will be going to Canada, to a friends in a few weeks to be hunted. If things fall through then CAT will be on the market also.
